5 Stars The adventures of a cute little dead girl Review with images 28/04/2005

Advantages Advantages Blood and guts in a form you go 'awww' at

Disadvantages Disadvantages Long wait between new issues

"Lenore is basically, the advertures of a cute little dead girl. Although he became immersed in his work as a magician, after he set himself on fire (which he pokes fun at in ... more

Advantages Advantages Really funny, gorgeous illustrations.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not for everyone.

As a lot of you will know from previous reviews I am a massive Lenore fan and a huge fan of her creator, Roman Dirge. I thought it was about time I wrote a review about the comics that started it all. Roman Dirge is a man of many talents, (he's an artist, magician, director and a bloody gorgeous man). He has the same ... more

Probably nobody knows who Lenore is... but I will explain it better possible... ^^O^^O^^O^^O^^ ROMAN DIRGE ^^O^^O^^O^^O^^ Roman Dirge is an American man, born a 29th April 1972, This Taurus man was always very interested about painting and he started at the Art high school. At this time he wasn’t very lucky, and his art teacher said it, that he wasn’t a good painter because her pictures were too “cold”… (So stupid teacher…) But here Roman, he didn’t stop, and after sometime, he started to work eventually at the “low bud ... more

Advantages Advantages Sweet, cute, creepy story--love that!

Now this one I'm totaly hyped about doing a review on. I've loved Lenore since its first feature in a local comics magazine here in the country. And I appreciate any deathly though subtle humor the author has placed into the mind of this one-of-a-kind "daughter" of his. It reminds me of Acony (a manga similar to this one) and of Nickelodion's "As Told By Ginger" specially that "And Then She was Gone" episode. Anyways, the story was actually inspired by a poem-Gotfried's Lenore. It tells about a girl who went "sick" and takes a long "sleep" only to wake up, well, dead. Then she has to deal with ... more
