Lenovo Essential G570

This is a very neat 15.6" laptop which was easy to set up out of the box. All you have to do is follow the instructions provided, fitting in the battery, connecting the power supply and turning it on. Once on, the windows was easy to set up with the wizard that appears straight away. You fill in your details and preferences and then the laptop restarts and is ready to go. I received the G570 laptop as a present at Christmas and think it is a great laptop! It was bought at quite a reasonable price. On Christmas morning I opened it and could turn it on and start working straight away! The laptop is reliable, its quick with the processing, and its a decent enough quality of image and screen resolution but I would say that if you completely turn off the computer it does take a few minutes to turn back on but if you switch it on to standby it turns on in seconds! This is a decent computer. This computer is offered to students at mu university. I have never been completely sold on it. The battery doesn't last very long and that is my biggest complaint. I am on the laptop frequently and I feel like I always have to be plugged in. If you enjoy watching television of films on your laptop then this is not the one for you. Watching videos on this unit eats up the battery fast. I also am not crazy about the portability. Yes, it is portable, but it is not as light as it could be.
