    Advantages Advantages Built-in 3G (optional); keyboard light; build quality, excellent software

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A little heavy due to build quality; some will find them ugly

    I've owned Lenovo/IBM laptops now for about 5 years - starting with a T20 and moving up through the lines to a T61 type 6464 I work in IT and have done a lot of contract and consulting work which means I get exposure to a broad range of different laptops. My friends who also work in IT also have a variety of different laptops. I can honestly say that I have never been jealous of anyone else's laptop (except for one friend who has the X61 Tablet) in a very very long time - these machines are really great!     I tried new Lenovo T61 with configuration: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz 1GB RAM nVidia Quadro 140M 100GB 7200RPM disc 14.1" wide screen 1440x900px Webcamera, fingerprint reader Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN 6 cell battery New thinkpad is traditionally whole black. It is very well built as usual. Nothing screapes and the keyboard is nice acurrate.Titan-Magnesium hardeness was improved by hardening back part of chassis.The only thing where is the influence of Lenovo on IBM shown are the connectors for reproductors and microphone.     Purchase this laptop as a second-hand buy from ebay. First impressions: Thin and very portable machine, feels solid with its good quality plastics and titanium hinges. Fantastic keyboard makes typing a pleasure - weight, keystroke, and return makes it the best I've ever used. The display option here, is WSXGA giving a native resolution of 1440*900 dpi, this can be an "eye-strain" for some people regarding text docs, but the actual quality of images are again, second to none.
