Laundry on a budget
Review of Lidl (Washing Liquid) by pink_champagne

Advantages: cheap, effective
Disadvantages: can't be used on wool or silk

...around 19p a wash. With Lidl Washing liquid it costs the same (£1.89), but contains enough for 20 washes, which works out at 9.5p a wash - half price. As you can see, this is much more cost effective, especially as the results are exactly the same. Obviously as this is a Lidl product it is only available in Lidl. ~*Overall opinion*~ I wasn't expecting to like this, but now I'm converted. It has cut my washing bill in half, and made me more open ... Read review

Neither do I have high expectations for this newly purchased washing up liquid. When I finally got to using it the first time, all my hopes about saving money were dashed. What came out of the bottle was just like coloured ... Give it a try - honestly
Review of Lidl (Washing Liquid) by vickylou1

Advantages: The price
Disadvantages: The colour

As a student I do not have much money to spend on things such as food and household products, which is why I tried Lidl. I bought someof their mid range washing up liquid, which only cost a few pence, and smelt of raspberries. once you get over the 'stigma' that is attached to this shop you can see that the products that they offer are good value for money and good quality. The washing up liquid is thick enough to go a long way, and wash many ... Read review
