Well, some of the fruit and herbal teas included on this site seem somewhat exotic so I feel a bit of "commoner" writing about this one as it falls very short of that description but, however, it is a tea and it does purport to contain fruit flavour (lemon's a fruit, init mate?!) so here goes!

Advantages: Refreshing and quick and easy. Disadvantages: not to everyones taste
...are actually two versions of lift lemon tea. There’s the original sweetened and reduced sweetness.
You can tell the difference by the lid.
Red lid is original sweetened and green lid is reduced sweetness.
This stuff comes in a jar with a mainly greeny-yellow label with the word 'Lift' in blue at the top.
Under that it says 'Hot or Cold' (It used to say 'delicious hot or cold', maybe they're not so confident in their product anymore).

Now I think I am getting old, I remember this as a kid, lovely hot steaming mugs of the stuff by the roaring coal fire in winter and wonderfully iced glasses of it in summer (the summers where always hotter then). Lift Lemon Tea is a delicious refreshing instant drink which can be drunk hot or cold. One serving provides 33% of the recommended daily amout of Vitamin C.
It is an acquired taste and can be a little 'tart' due to the acidity of the lemons. I find when I have a cold if I add a little honey to a glass of lift lemon tea it is a natural cold relief drink.
