LITERATI IS DEFINATLY MY BUDDY
Review of Literati (PC) by gemax2

Advantages: CAN MAKE FRIENDS WITH PEOPLE, IMPROVES YOUR SPELLING
Disadvantages: VERY ADDICTIVE & CAN GET VERY TIME CONSUMING

I Actually found literati by mistake about 4 years ago I was addicted to playing games on the net & used to love playing monopoly but I went to play one day & the site had been closed down & I could not find a new site where you didn't have to pay to play & that's when I noticed yahoo did games for free. I have had a yahoo email account for as long as I can remember & never really paid much attention to anything to else. But when needs must you begin ... Read review

My New Addiction
Review of Literati (PC) by purebitch

Advantages: Easy to play, different levels, meet new people, free, addictive.
Disadvantages: You don't know who you are playing and conversation should be monitired if you are going to allow young children to play.

...the message box, below the literati board. The writing is quite small in here, but it works the same as msn. You type, it is instant and they type back. To boot someone from your table you simply choose their name from a list and click the boot button. A message to that player will then be sent, telling them that you have booted them from the table. ******************PLAYING THE GAME******************** To be able to play this game you need ... Warning - this game is addictive
Review of Literati (PC) by drewish

Advantages: Entertaining. Tactical. Addictive.
Disadvantages: It crashes a lot.

Literati is essentially Scrabble - a word game for 1 - 4 players. You can play it for free on yahoo.com. There are also versions of the page in other languages, e.g. yahoo.fr, yahoo.it, etc. Playing on these is a good way to brush up on your languages, and all you need to do to play is pick a unique Yahoo username. The satisfaction of actually beating a French speaker (the only other language I know) is great! Essentially, you have seven lettered ... Read review

Scrabble by another name and rules.
Review of Literati (PC) by thingywhatsit

Advantages: Good Fun. Challenging.
Disadvantages: Some of the words accepted are a little strange

I have been playing literati for about a year and it is very similar to scrabble, except that the rules I believe to be American, and as for the dictionery, well some of the words accepted are a little strange. If you have a wide vocabulary, then this is the game for you. You will find this game on Yahoo Games and if you type those two words into your Google browser, it will find the site for you. To log on to play you need a Yahoo name and here ... Read review

The word game literati.
Review of Literati (PC) by reninaomar

Advantages: you say
Disadvantages: you say

I love this game, I play it on yahoo all the time. It's really cool you get a couple of people to play along with you, and you all take turns. You get different color blocks which are all worth different amounts of points. It's not really addictive, it will only be if you are crazy over word games and winning. The idea of the game is to make a whole word out of about 7 letter's you are given. The longer you complete the word with the letter's the ... Read review
