The website was thankfully easy to navigate and provided detailed information on the products. It was revealed that the cleanse and polish had won numerous rewards and contained (the website contains all this information);
a) beeswax to sooth skin
b) chamomile to sooth and act as an anti-inflammatory

...'experts' started gushing about this Liz Earle product, saying how wonderful it was and so on. I'm not sure why, but something about it caught my attention and I made a mental note of the name.

Liz Earle didn’t so much as bounce onto our TV screens in the ‘80’s as glide serenely. There was a health & beauty programme filmed in her house, often in her ideal kitchen, surrounded by her perfectly behaved plants (my kitchen then always looked like an explosion in a flour factory – I was learning to bake bread - and my plants were brown and pleading for help). Liz beamed from my dusty television as a shining example of healthy living, making ... ...This is similar to Liz Earle’s approach. Liz’s ‘Cleanse & Polish’ is a gentle, non-abrasive, non-chemical cleanser which is removed with a muslin cloth which has been soaked in warm water. The biggest difference between the two products is price. Cleanse & Polish is £8.75 for 100ml, Eve Lom’s Cleanser is £24 for 50ml. I had never heard of Liz Earle untill early this year when I tuned into QVC and there she was doing a beauty show with the resident expert Alison.
Now I have been parted with money all to easily in the past in the search for decent skin. Ive been plagued by a greasy T-zone with large open pores since my teens and as I got older I started to get dry flakey patches just to add to the misery.

Everywhere i look i see Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish " one of the best cleansers i have ever used ". Unfortunatley, in my case i have to disagree. I mean, i have no major complaints about this product apart from the fact that it didnt do any justice for my complextion. I have normal to combination skin, but recently i have had a few dry days and sensitivity on my skin. I never really cleansed my face with products just the old fashion way with water ... ...what do you think about Liz Earl cleanse and polish? " well, i would tell her my experience and if she was willing or adement in gettting the product, i would advise her to buy a try me kit and do a skin patch test either on her hand or behind her ear. This is because the products are not widely available in the high street and the only way to purchase them is by mail order, the internet or from the shopping channel QVC (found on Sky Digital channel 630). Liz Earle’s Cleanse and polish is one of those little gems that everyone else seems to know about but you never did! If you’ve never heard of it, in short it’s a face cleanser packed with wholesome natural ingredients which you remove with a hot Muslin cloth.
The product, which comes in a classy green, pump action container, contains the likes of softening coca butter, refreshing eucalyptus , and soothing hops – a delicious combination. However, ... ...two Muslin cloths.(from QVC or Liz Earle’s website) You can also buy Muslin cloths in baby stores but they tend to be a little rougher than the ones from Liz Earle, so don’t use them near your eyes as they left mine a little sore. The cleanser itself is safe to use on the eyes. It will remove normal eye cosmetics but you may need to remove waterproof mascara prior to using the cleanser.

I discovered Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish after running out of my usual cleanser and finding my mums after raiding the bathroom cupboards.
Where from?
My mother is a complete QVC nut. She buys all her Liz Earle products there and a 'todays special value' comes up quite often so you can easily save a pound or two off of the RRP. You can also buy it off Amazon and Ebay.
Price?
Two 100ml Cleanse and Polish bottles will set you back around £22.50. ... ...also want to mention that Liz Earle products contain only high quality natural, organic ingredients. They are not tested on animals and are enviromentally friendly.)
Application?

I first heard about Liz Earle when watching Channel 4's 'How to Look Good Naked and one of the products, Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser was mentioned. My cleanser wasn't overly brilliant so thought i'd give this one a go. Firstly what's the website like?

All the Liz Earle products contain natural ingredients and i believe having used the products for a couple of months now that this is the secret to these working and being in my opinion the best products i've ever used. I heard about Liz Earle products a couple of years ago in a beauty magazine. I usually take this sort of recommendation with a pinch of salt, but I kept seeing Liz's name and very positive things, so eventually thought I'd try this cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser, which is the flagship product from this apparently ex-QVC company.
I love this product! It's really effective - you can scrub your face as vigorously or gently as you wish with the ... ...I have used a Liz Earle moisturiser as well, and I really liked that, but this product is certainly the best thing I've used from the range.
I find using one push of the pump (as per the directions) gives plenty - I put it on before getting in the shower and then use the muslin cloth under the shower. The first time I read the directions I thought it looked like a bit of a faff, but it's fine. And the bit about needing to wash the cloth after every ...
