    Advantages Advantages leaves skin smoooooooooooooth

Disadvantages Disadvantages can´t stop using it

I only started using Liz Earle´s products about two months ago. Since then I have become a convert and got two friends hooked on it too. Superbalm is my second favourite product because you can use it for everything. You can get her products in a few shops in London, her shop in the Isle of Wight and her website www.lizearle.com. Superbalm comes in a beautiful, smart 30g jar or in a mini-size of 5g with a beautiful lavender blue little pot. It costs 12.50 for the full-size and you can get two minis for 7.50. (But if you are lucky, you might get it as one of the freebies you get when you order ... more

Advantages Advantages Deliciously scented and a product that works

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

As anyone who reads my opinions knows, I am a keen devotee of Liz Eale products. Since I saw her on QVC I have been using her products, all of which have been great for my skin. Superbalm is one of those products that I wouldn't like to be without. It has been mentioned in the beauty sections of national newspapers and also in beauty magazines as being a top product, and supermodels have been seen carrying jars of Superbalm around with them. If it's good enough for them...... Superbalm is one of those products that has multi-usage. It is not for a specific part of the face or body. It contains ... more

Advantages Advantages genuine multi use product

Disadvantages Disadvantages trial and error needed to find what works best for you

Many cosmetic products are touted as being 'multi-purpose' and good for all ills. So it was with some scepticism that I first tried this thick, slightly herbal/medicinal smelling balm from the acclaimed Liz Earle range. It contains incredients such as essential oils and natural vitamin E in a beeswax base; which nevertheless melts when you warm t a little on your fingers. First place I tried it was as a lip balm - one of the suggested uses. Not to my taste - literally. The smell was not for me and the texture was not as good as I expected. Patches of very dry skin was another suggestion - and ... more

    Advantages Advantages Versatile, nourishing, natural

    Disadvantages Disadvantages NONE!!!!!

This was one of the first, and best, Liz Earle products I used a few years back and it is now a staple in my skincare routine. It is full of naturally active pure plant oils and waxes that really do feel like they are nourishing your skin and this product has a multitude of uses - as a lip balm, cuticle cream, eyebrow groomer, for areas of dry skin, for mild sunburn, for stings, rough skin, sore skin - you name it, it helps! The large pot pictured (£13.50 for 30g) lasts for ages and ages, I'm still using mine over a year on and I use it every day, so you definitely get good value for money ... more

    Advantages Advantages WOOOOOOOW its amazing

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none !!!!

Liz Earle's company only use natural plant extracts wild where possible to make their products and they are all of a very high quaility, and they are not tested on animals or use any animal ingredients I was given the liz earle gift pack last xmas by my mother and along side other things it contained a 28g pot of super balm. The super balm its self is made out of pure plant waxes and oils and can be used on nails, or chapped skin. It is a sort of emergency skin saver that norishes, calms and protects the skin and helps the nails grow healthy and strong. I have always had terrible nails and ... more

Advantages Advantages Made with natural oils.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Sickly smell/taste; ineffective.

Liz Earle's Superbalm is designed as a multi-purpose product to soften or soothe skin, with one of its chief uses being as a lip balm. Though the Liz Earle range is almost always top quality, this product was a bit of a disappointment. It's filled with natural ingredients and essential oils, but unfortunately these have resulted in an extremely sickly smell and taste, which is an unpleasant attribute in a lip balm. On top of this, I found the product to be rather ineffective - I used it regularly for a long time in the hope of noticing an improvement but it made little difference to my lips ... more
