Advantages: Slim and sexy, extra buttons Disadvantages: Mouse a bit plasticky
...turned out to be the Logitech Cordless Desktop 510. The Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 consists of three items, the keyboard, mouse and wireless transmitter plus of course the driver CD. OK, four items.
The Logitech Cordless S510 keyboard's main selling point is its slim profile - around 1cm and this is why I bought it - it looks really, really sexy. Perhaps I should get my head checked out if I've started to find computer keyboards sexy but you ... ...This was painless too and Logitech are known to upgrade their drivers regularly so keep an eye out for new versions although I'd also recommend holding back a few days if anything new does appear as some updates have proved a tad buggy. Once it's clear the new versions work OK, you can go ahead and install. Anyway, I digress...
Initial impressions were OK. The mouse is a bit dull, it works well enough but feels rather plasticky and wasn't the best ...

Hi All
This set is one of the best I've ever had, and this is why:
1) Stylish - It is thin, sleek and the colours go well. The black and silver look very stylish especially with a black monitor.
2) Cheap - I picked this up at Currys digital for £29.99 well worth it in my view.
3) Wireless - Very flexible, immaculate performance in DVDs. (For when your brother really needs a pee!) Just pause it with the handy media buttons on the right hand side. ... ...choose which one)
Play/Pause
Stop
Next Scene/Song
Previous Scene/Song
Shuffle Volume up and down
Mute
On the left hand side there is other buttons like:
Standby (Takes your Computer into Standby mode)
Home (This can open any program although I like it set as firefox)
Rotate (This works in Windows picture and fax viewer, and can be set to left or right)
Zoom in and out (Text and image on web browser, works with Internet Explorer or Firefox)
...

Advantages: Very nice look and feel, good hotkey arrangement, flat design, comfortable mouse Disadvantages: Slightly bad range, keys can be loud, mouse is optical, loud scrolling, poor battery life
I bought this keyboard and mouse set from Argos for about £25. The first issue i had with this was that argos said that the mouse was laser, but that was probably just argos messing up. Since i have had it, it has given me no major problems, the keyboard is very nice, has a good build quality and the hot keys have been laid out very well. I also like the smallish wrist-rest and how flat it is. The keys are quite good, but are not that soft-touch, ... ...is very nice, good quality but is an optical mouse and can stutter across the screen if it is on a different surface, like a bed. One issue i have also had with the bundle is that both of the items have a very bad range if not in the right position. the reciever must not be near any metallic objects or communications devices, like a mobile phone, ect. I also have found that the items both don't live up to their battery life expectation, and run out ...
