Advantages: Comfortable for a normal layout keyboard, silent
Disadvantages: Required software installation to work under Windows XP

I have recently bought the Logitech Wave cordless set, and I can say it's a big leap forwards for qwerty keyboards in terms of comfort and functionality. It's a comfortable keyboard for those who do not want to take the time to learn a new layout. Frankly, I was about to buy a true ergonomic keyboard, one of those with seemingly weird layouts, since this one doesn't look all that different from normal keyboards, but the media keys won me over, ...
