Advantages: Comfortable for a normal layout keyboard, silent Disadvantages: Required software installation to work under Windows XP
I have recently bought the Logitech Wave cordless set, and I can say it's a big leap forwards for qwerty keyboards in terms of comfort and functionality.
It's a comfortable keyboard for those who do not want to take the time to learn a new layout.
Frankly, I was about to buy a true ergonomic keyboard, one of those with seemingly weird layouts, since this one doesn't look all that different from normal keyboards, but the media keys won me over, ... ...the average user.
The provided Logitech application lets you configure pretty much everything about how keys behave. You can use them to launch applications, to activate Vista functions, to open documents, websites...
For instance, since I own XP, I set the Vista 'Flip3d' key to open Eclipse, a programming application, so that I can instantly code, whenever I feel like it. It's very convenient.
