Advantages: Resembles PS controller, Confortable, Good value for money Disadvantages: Unresponsive 8 way D pad
...it immediately without installing the Logitech Profiler software which lets you create configuration profiles for all your different games. I used it to play Need For Speed:Hot Pursuit 2 and it was excellent. The analog stick is really responsive, you can control even the slightest movement. When I tried using the 8 way direction pad to control the car, that's when the problems appeared. The responsiveness became incredibly slow and it was too easy ... ...which is really annoyed so I stuck to using the analog stick.
I would recommend this gamepad as it's good value for money and I haven't had any problems so far which is great. I really like the fact that it has a shift button to increase the amount of buttons from 12 to 24 which is good if you want to play games that require a lot of buttons such as flight simulators. ...

Advantages: Cheap, Comfortable to Hold Disadvantages: Game pad works poorly, unresponsive
The logitech dual action controller is the first game controller that I have ever purchased for my pc and unfortunately I consider it to be mediocre at best.
First, the good points. The controller was fairly inexpensive as well as being a nice shape and size, very similar to the PS controller. The joysticks, game pad and buttons are all easy to reach and identical in location to the PS controller. In addition, the controller was extremely easy to ... ...to do so. Finally, the joysticks were very responsive. That is, unfortunately, where the good points end.
First, the game pad never did work properly because it was very unresponsive and difficult to use. The buttons, as well, were not the most responsive. Although they were certainly usable, when compared to a console controller they fared poorly. The buttons themselves seemed just a little to far apart to be comfortable. Finally, I have used this ...

Advantages: Good for users suited to playstation 2 gaming, solid and reliable Disadvantages: Cable Length, No vibration
Overview : The logitech dual action gamepad is a cheap an honest USB gamepad, suitable for most PC games. I have owned one since august 2006 originally purchased from argos for £19.99.
The controller consists of 11 buttons, a multidirection pad and 2 joysticks.
Installation : I found installation of this product to be simple and hassle free, the cd included is easy to understand and provides support in plain language, the driver installation is ... ...XP will not require a driver to be installed.
Compatibility : I have never had any problems with this controller in any game i have used it with, the buttons are easy to map to game functions and it is simple to calibrate within windows if necessary.
Usability :The controller is especially easy to use if you are used to a PS2 controller, even if you are not then the buttons are layed out in a format that anyone will grasp very quickly. The controller ...

Advantages: Ergonomics, smooth movement of analogue controls Disadvantages: My hand size!!!!
After previously owning a cheap Logic 3 gamepad and it breaking (very quickly) i thought i better buy a reputable make that i had had good experiences in the past with. I was not disappointed there as after just holding it i felt that at least some thought had been put into how it was designed.
As for ergonomics, all the buttons are in the right places and everything is easily accessible without moving your grip of the gamepad. The only problem ... ...two rubber grips could be slightly longer, but it isnt a great problem.
As for the details it is very similar to most other game pads, having dual analoug control, has 10 buttons and connects to your PC/ laptop via. USB. Advantages of it though are that it works with Windows Vista which some don't . it also includes a gaming software CD-ROM which enables you to programme the buttons for games on your PC (you can do this on most games but the software ...

Advantages: fully programable buttons , cheapish Disadvantages: no vibration function , hard to figure out for begginers
i realy like this pad mostly because of the software that came with it after a easy instal if your game doesnt have or support a control pad option then you open up the software for the controller and it will ask you for the games exe file whitch can be found under the corisponding folder ie... for gta san andreas it C:\program files\san andreas thats for me anyway you should always check for each game where its default instalation folder is located. ... ...match up what you would press on the keyboard to what you want to press ie...in san andres W on the keyboard is forward so you press W then you you would press what ever you wanted to match up to that. This is just an example as san andreas has a controller function. ...

Advantages: feels like a ps2 controller, confortable grip, lots of buttons Disadvantages: cost as much as a ps2 controller, calibration bugs
...game console.
I brought this Logitech dual action gamepad in my local Argos for £19.99. It was one of the most expensive gamepad ever brought, if you think long enough you would realise it cost as much as a playstation 2 gamepad. I am always a big fan of Sony products and their playstation 2 was no exception but due to some circumstances I couldn’t own a ps2 I thought this Logitech gamepad will make me feel as if I’m playing on my PC as playing ... ...the Logitech gamepad, In fact I hated so much that I wanted to get rid of it but it was too late. I must admit the gamepad was working flawlessly on some of the old retro games for PC – including fighting, racing, football etc. But the trouble came as soon as I decided to play some more up to date games such as Final Fantasy XI. For a minute the game was going fine then out of nowhere the calibration went haywire. My right analog stick went wonky ...
