Logitech S-220

These speakers were purchased as an 'add-on' to my old desktop PC system, to help improve the sound quality and overall audio experience when using the PC. It has to be said, that not only did these speakers do exactly that, and improved the sound quality immeasurably, but they have also proved particularly durable, outlasting the PC and now working very well with either mine or my husband's laptops. I have had this speaker system for over a few now after buying it when I read the reviews on this site. Basically please do not be fooled by the amount of watts, 9W is more than enough for a sub woofer, it will easily give out a clean bass which is heavy enough to shake the 1st floor when its on the ground floor (watch out for neighbours though). The speakers are fine but be warned that if they are used without the sub woofer they sound horrible. I was very surprised when i bought these speakers, as they are great! I bought them as a cheap replacement for a pair that blew up, and they are still in use today. Although the speakers are only 4 watts each with a 9 watt subwoofer, they are fairly powerful. The sound quality from movie playback and gaming is great considering the cost.
