Advantages: Very punchy, cheap system that does the job well! Disadvantages: You get what you pay for...
I bought these speakers on impulse; I saw them, wanted them, bought them! £24.00 from Tesco. Simple =)
Once I got home, other bits that I bought were put away, then I was straight to the computer, box ripped open and the speakers out. I had left my computer running before my journey, so the music was already on. I quickly ripped my old set of stereo speakers out, and plugged these in!
Compared to the previous speakers, £24 was a fantastic investment! ... ...loud as I could possibly bear!
::Ease of Install::
The speaker set consists of a sub unit, 2 x 5 Watt speakers and a little volume control unit. The sub connects to the mains, and also to the volume control. The speakers are connected together and they connect to the sub via a standard jack. – This took me around 5 minutes at most to get setup.
I did find that most of the cabling was more than an adequate length, the speakers can be positioned ...

Advantages: Great sound for the price. Easy peasy Disadvantages: An independant bass control would be handy - just to turn it down a bit.
Boom Boom Boom.
£19 on ebay! Absolute total bargain. I ain't no stereo buff but even I know my little pair of speakers were, to be honest, duff. As in effin duff. They played twinkle twinkle little star ok but that's it. These on the other hand took me to places where the bass does shine. They are very very loud. really loud. And tiny. You wouldn't think that given the size of box they came in though! That was huge! The slight feeling of dread was ... ...getting them up and running. It literally took 2 minutes before they had sound coming out of them. Lovely sound.
The sub is fairly compact, plugs straight in to the wall and straight into the back of the pc, green to green. The 2 satellites have lots of reach on their cable and sit neatly on either side of the desk. And they are little - just 17cm tall and 6cm wide. If you want you can pop them on the wall but I'm just too lazy for that.
Pop in ...

Advantages: Great price , good overall sound Disadvantages: None . but the neighbours might have a problem.
I got these free at comet when i brought the computer (it,s well worth doing abit of bartering). I did think they would,nt be brilliant as they are around the £25 mark. But they are fantastic the sound is great not at all tinny .
What you get is 2 speakers a superwoofer and a wired volume contol all connection wires where included.
Very easy to install just connect the 2 speakers to the superwoofer and plug into speaker output on your pc.There ... ...15watts satalites 10 watts total peak power 50 watts .Which means nothing to most of us , they can go quite loud espiecally if you have a music mad kid like mine.
No headhones included but there is a headphone jack on the volume button and the speakers automatically go on to mute when headphones are plugged.
The speakers can be wall mounted be they are quite small so they dont take up to much space. But the superwoofer is bigger ,but they are basic ...

Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: No bass control
I brought these speakers from amazon for £20 with free delivery when they were on offer. I use them at university as I always listen to my music through my laptop now and the laptopo speakers are just not sufficient. I also use the speaker to list to music on friends ipods and other mp3 players.
--Sound Quality--
When I fist saw the speakers I thought that the small speakers may not be loud enough, but i couldn't of been more wrong. These speakers ... ...RMS and gives out some pumping bass. The two 5 watt RMS satellites are also very impressive can give out a rich sound.
--Durability and Ease of use--
I have only had these speakers for a year and have had no problem thus far (they come with a 2 year guarantee). The speakers are small and lightweight so can be placed anywhere. The small control is very easy to use and it has a it has a rolling volume wheel and an on/off button. The control also ...

Advantages: Sound is amazing, cheap and great subwoofer Disadvantages: None
I have always used small and cheap 2.0 speakers that sound tinny even from good brands like philips but when I bought my PC at Comet there was an offer for these speakers half-price, I thought that if they are that price then they must be bad but I got them anyway as my speakerswere on the blink. When I linked these up to my new machine I was amazed at how a 15 watt system can create such great sound. The fact these speakers only need for you to ... ...then another cable in the the back of the computer and then plug it into the wall made it an ideal way to get a subwoofer system without any hastle of pluging individual channels into diferent ports in a 5.1 sound-card. Overall these speakers are a great value way to replace old tinny speakers that have less bass than a xylaphone. ...
