...bought it. ~~~~~~ Looking for JJ is a very very strange book. It is six years on from the murder, and JJ is now officially an adult and being released into the world again. Being mid twenies, for me, the only case like it in my lifetime (that I have been old enough to be aware of) was Jamie Bulger, and everything that went with the release of his killers, so that was constantly at the back of my mind as I read. ...been short-listed for book awards. Looking for JJ is on this year's short list for the North East Book Award. (NEBA) I have taken part in the NEBA for the past two years and I thoroughly enjoyed it because it is always a list of excellent books. Unfortunately, this year I am too old to take part, :-( but my school librarian let me borrow this book. :-) And I was NOT disappointed! Three girls went on an adventure but only two of them came back. ...
