...as any one interested in lord of the rings will find it very interesting. Storyline aside, playing through the campaign is a great way of getting used to whats new. The new updates aren't the easiest to get use as they can change your fighting styles a lot, i advise everyone to play through each faction to get used to their strengths and weaknesses, it will massively help you when it comes to fighting online or against friends. A significantly greater increase in graphics, game-play, and animation. This game is so powerful and so intricate that it is hard to stop playing. The storyline is great and different from Battle for Middle Earth 1. I appreciated the different changes and characters also because it kept the idea of the game fresh. Advantages: A great addtion to any gamer
Disadvantages: For me it has gotten harder

I think this games was a great addtion to the orginal version, has made one of the best games i have played a hell of a lot better. I think it was matched the films however including some (unseen in the films) more info from the book. The charcters from the book & film where in the games and is a great addtion to have along side the orginal. well the only thing i can say is buy it as it is such an awesom addition to battle for middle earth 2, the gameplay is greatly improved gives for a more challenging game, single player campaign is very challenging even on easy setting (im stuck on the 3rd mission) also the skirmish AI greatly improved as agai neven on easy the AI puts up a valient fight sometimes can get you unaware which is annoying beaten by easy AI how embarising.
