Thankfully Virgin planes go all the way
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by free4susan

Advantages: A fascinating read, a page-turner
Disadvantages: Always difficult to tell with autobiographies what is NOT being said

If this book had been pressed into my hand and I had been told it was a work of fiction I would have ended up being very disappointed with it. I would have come away thinking "what a load of far-fetched nonsense". The fact that this story is true, and even taking into consideration that the author is going to paint the best possible picture of himself, this really is an amazing read. After reading this I WANT TO WORK FOR VIRGIN! I don't care what ... Read review

Incredible insight
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by yhwman

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: None

This is an absolutely fascinating book. Getting to see inside the mind of a businessman such as Branson is a rare privilege. So many different things happen in this book it’s hard to believe its non-fiction. Births, Marriages, Deaths, Balloons, Hippies, Boats, Tropical Islands and unmatching shoes and more are all present. It’s also nice to see that it’s more than just an ego trip for Branson. He quite happily points out the mistakes he made along ... Read review

Changing the face of the World
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by stuee

Advantages: Fascinating journey through the life of a great entrepreneur
Disadvantages: None now it's in cheaper paperback form

I know Losing my Virginity is quite an old book now, but with it's more recent paperback launch I wanted to share my opinion anyway! If you haven't read this book yet then hang your head in shame! It's the most inspiring, eye-opening, humorous and beautifully written beast you'll ever read. Starting from when Richard was just a child, through his public school days and onto the beginning of Virgin Records, the book takes you through a rollercoaster ... Read review

Losing my Virginity
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by Louise

Advantages: addictive to read
Disadvantages: finishes too soon

Richard Branson's autobiography - 'Losing My Virginity' has to be one of the most inspiring & adictive books you can read. A true holiday book! It documents his rise to fame and fortune right from his childhood giving the reader a true insight into how he thinks - what he likes (and hates) and what he gets up to on a day to day basis. At times you don't know whether to love him or hate him. He has succeeded through drive, ambition and being there ... Read review

A brilliant book, this man never fails
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by JS682

Advantages: Lots of stories
Disadvantages: none really

I had always had an interest in Richard Branson and when his autobiography came out i was really excited, but then i saw the price tag £20, a lot of money, so i went and bought another book. The a few years later i saw the hard back copy for £5 pounds and snapped it up immediately. I am so glad i did because this is such an interesting book, on a very interesting person. The book is very big and has many different sections, on different businesses, ... Read review

Its not all about business you know.
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by LauraCook

Advantages: It will definitely keep you occupied.
Disadvantages: He hasn't written the second part yet.

One of the best autobiographies I have ever read. Richard Branson’s biography is very inspiring, after reading this I felt like I could take on the world. He has taken on most of it. From flying high in Hot balloons to getting his fleet of aeroplanes off the ground and picking up hostages. From buying an island to signing the Rolling Stones. Richard Branson is a guy that lives life to the full; he works hard, but plays even harder. ‘Losing my virginity’ ... Read review

Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by Kracken

Advantages: A full review of his life
Disadvantages: Could have been longer is all i can say

I am a great fan of Richard Branson and his company. I recently found this book and thought it very intresting to learn about how he first started out from a teenage boy to the boss of such a huge global operation today. It personally gave me alot of inspiration for starting up my own business as i have done and i would recommend it to anyone wanting to start thier own business and in need of some tips. A great read for anyone with an intrest in business ... Read review

Held my attention throughout
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by austinhead

Advantages: Funny, interesting, high "can't put it down" factor
Disadvantages: none

Seriously, who would expect a book about Richard Bransons life to be really interesting ?. Yeah, so we know he's a wheeler and a dealer and has been up in an air balloon, but what else ?!. Well, a hell of a lot of stuff in this book was new to me, some of the business "adventures" he got up to were daring to say the least. This man has done a lot of things in his life, a lot of very interesting things - either that, or it's all made up. He has ... Read review

A very inspirational read
Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by SUGGI01

Advantages: inspires you and lets you into Richards life
Disadvantages: when you finish the book you still want more

I have always been a "fan" of fan of the man with the midas touch and always thought that what he did was done correctly first time. This book lifts the lid on his life and shows you that whilst the man is successful through and through, he has had so many knocks in life and has always found a way round them to continue being successful. He didnt let a brick wall stop him and found a way round the obstacle to achieve what he set out to do. I particularly ... Read review

Review of Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson by lizzy1977

Advantages: amazing! what a story!
Disadvantages: what disadvantages! The books brilliant!

What a brilliant story, never thought that Richard Branson could write or do anything interesting i thought he was a very boring man, but this book shows otherwise! its a very inspiring book! a must for anyone that needs inspiration for their business ventures. The story can be funny in parts but it also had its serious moments that make u think about life! It`s nice to know that even he faced problems at school but still came out smelling of roses! ...
