Advantages Advantages Great taste, very refreshing!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly overpriced perhaps..

One soft drink that my husband buys a lot of is Lucozade, and he often buys the different varieties and flavours that are on offer. My own preference though is the orange flavoured Lucozade, and I have this soft drink on a regular basis. The full name of the soft drink is ‘Lucozade Energy Orange’. The bottle is made of plastic which can be recycled, which is good to know for those of us who are environmentally aware. There is a plastic lid on top of the bottle which is made of a bright orange coloured plastic. One point that I would mention is that the bottle is often quite difficult for me to ... more

Advantages Advantages It taste really nice straight out the fridge

    Disadvantages Disadvantages get flat quick

Lucozade orange flavour energy drink is not so energetic as advertised on the packaging. This is probably the most popular of flavours out of all the Lucozade products. The drink itself orange flavoured and when you first open it tastes really nice and kind of bubbly and full of fizz which I like. When I close the lid and put it down or in my bag etc. After a while the more you open and close it the worse it starts to taste. I think that after you leave it for more than half an hour after its open its taste flat and more like syrup than Lucozade. I've never considered Lucozade as an energy ... more

Advantages Advantages Tasty, naturally sweet tasting drink

Disadvantages Disadvantages The orange flavour isn't all that apparent, it does leave a slight odd after-taste which is tinny

I am a huge fan of Lucozade products. I have drank a fair few in my days because mainly, I love the flavour more than anything else. I used to drink Lucozade when I came out the of the gym (back in the days before becoming a couch potato lol) and whenever I was in hospital (which was often I've suffered with ill health all my life) as my Mother always bought me cos she knew I loved it! Me though, well I'm a fan of the original flavour best and not until the past few days, since I have had a cold actually and been feeling generally run down have I been drinking the orange flavour and the only ... more

Advantages Advantages nice orange flavour, good for a pick me up

Disadvantages Disadvantages way too much sugar

So I was in my local 99p store and there was an offer on 2 bottles of 500ml lucozades for 99p. What with rushing around for Christmas and everything, I thought getting a couple of bottles of this in the cupboard would do me the world of good! Lucozade orange is an energy drink and this Lucozade comes under their "sport" range. Not that I do any sport, but sometimes working practically full time, running a household (mainly the 3 year old giving me trouble!) and generally having some kind of a social life takes a lot of work to keep up with and a little energy boost drink is always a bonus! It ... more

With my busy workload at the minute, the only thing that keeps me going with energy is to drink Lucozade. I am not a big fan of the drink but because it is so high in sugar it gives me the power to stay awake. I don't like drinking too much, only because I know how high in sugar it is but every once in a while I don't mind taking it. Lucozade is very easy to spot in the supermarket amongst other drinks as it has a very strong packaging design. It is in an orange bottle with the bright logo down the side and is very vibrant. The bottle itself looks energetic and it really does stand out ... more

Lucozade Energy is available in many different flavours, Orange is one of the most popular flavours, and one of the easy to find in store. Orange is one of my favourite flavours, yet I must admit Apple is my all time favourite. Lucozade Orange comes in amny different sized bottles and there is also a canned version avaliable. I tend to just buy whatever is on offer, from multipacks of smaller bottles, 500ml bottles to 1 litre bottles. In this case I had 1 litre bottle, which I picked up for £1. I have found that most of the time its cheaper to buy the larger bottles than the smaller ones. The ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice refreshing taste and energy booster

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lots of sugar

My Mum and Dad always used to buy Lucozade original for me as a child, every time I was not feeling very well, in an attempt to get some liquid into me, containing glucose to give me a much needed energy boost. Lucozade Orange is very similar, but with a stronger orange flavouring, but still a product of pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline. Lucozade was pretty much the original energy drink, first created by a doctor for use in hospitals. Since then it has grown tremendously, and is now very popular with most sporting athletes. Lucozade claims to provide glucose which acts fast to refuel the ... more

Self confessed Lucozade addict. I found my love for Lucozade when I used to swim competitively. We were only allowed a sports bottle filled with water, but I snuck my Lucozade in as I found it gave me more energy and considering I was swimming in water - I didn't really want to be drinking it too! I have never really been a fan of the original flavour as it tastes a bit too odd for my liking, I can't describe the taste but I am sure you've all had it at some point. The orange flavoured one is much more appealing and irresistible! The Lucozade is quite bubbly and fizzy with an transparent ... more

Lucozade orange can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Ingredients: Carbonated water, Glucose Fructose Syrup (24%), Orange Juice from Conentrate (5%), Citric Acid, Preservatives (Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Bisulphite). Stabiliser (Acacia Gum), Caffeine (0.012%), Antioxidant (Ascorbic Acid), Flavourings, Colour (Beta Carotene). For a very tasty and popular energy drink the price of lucozade orange is not as expensive as you may think. I can easily get 1l bottles for £1 each. It is perfect for those who need an energy boost and provides glucose which acts fast to refuel ... more

I love the original lucozade and drink it on a regular basis but I also like to try the different flavours now available for a change. One of the many flavours now available is orange. The orange lucozade comes in a variety of different sized bottles and even a can version. The most recent bottle that I purchased was the 500ml at a cost of £0.99. I think this is a fairly good price for this size bottle but if you look out for special offers you can often find multi-packs of individual bottles for a good price especially in Iceland. The drink itself is a sparkling orange glucose drink, and is ... more
