    Advantages Advantages Rehydrates fast

Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't refuel as such and tastes very unnaturaly sweet

Today when running out of my house to get to the gym I totally forgot to take my water bottle with me! What a panic that was I can tell you when I realised cos me, well I really work up a sweat and get parched so I had to nip across the road from my said gym and into my local Sainsbury's. Along with a bottle of water I decided to get one of these Lucozade sport drinks to help keep me hydrated and I do like flavour in my drinks as I'm not the worlds biggest fan of water I have to admit! The Bottle: 500ml clear plastic bottle of which you can see the light orange drink through it and there is a ... more

    Advantages Advantages Refreshing.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Feels like you take one sip and it's done.

Lucozade Sport is a performance booster drink from the Lucozade collection of sports drinks. The drink is suppose to give you body fuel and help you keep your performance up during sporting events. I think that the drink manages to do the well because it is very refreshing and makes me feel active. I think Lucozade Sport Orange is probably one of the better products from the Lucozade range because it's probably the best one at keeping me active. Taste & Appearance - I think the taste of Lucozade Sport Orange flavour is quite sweet and it doesn't have a too strong orange taste or taste to ... more

Advantages Advantages Fantastic drink, I did feel more energised, nice tasting juice.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Tastes very sugary.

I have recently been suffering from extreme tiredness and this has been effecting how I feel in the daytime. When my fiancé and I recently decided to go for a nice long walk I wanted to take something with me that would give me some energy and keep me cool at the same time. We spotted Lucozade Sport on buy one get one free in our local corner shop for around £1.20 for 2 x 500ml bottles. I chose the orange variety and it comes provided in a tall thin plastic bottle with a blue flip top lid. To release the juice from the bottle it's necessary to squeeze it or suck the juice through the opening ... more

    Advantages Advantages Serves Its Purpose

Disadvantages Disadvantages A Little On The Expensive Side

Lucozade sport is a performance drink and described by the company themselves as body fuel to help you during sport. Now the main focus of this interview will be if this is effective at doing exactly what it says on the tin, well in this case the bottle. For those of you who are not aware of the brand Lucozade they are the most famous brand of energy and sports drinks in the country and they even had a very cool advert where Lara Croft from Tomb Raider is fighting some evil dogs and then drinks lucozade which gives her that extra boost to escape from them. They have been around for many years ... more

Advantages Advantages Versatile bottle, works over time, tastes lush

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive

INTRO Playing sunday football is no easy task, especially after a hard night on the drink. I swear by this product even when it costs me an arm and a leg. APPEARANCE Comes in a tall squeezable plastic bottle, with an easy grip shape to it. The bottle top is a shut off cap easy to place down when you have finished, preventing you from spilling the expensive product. The bottle is very hardy and versatile. TASTE Really nice refreshing taste, i would describe it somwhere in the between of Sunny D (California) and Squash. PRICE Yeah the price coming in from around £1.85 for 500ml the product is a ... more

Advantages Advantages Yummy!! Gives you a boost

    Disadvantages Disadvantages very addictive!

I have been drinking orange squash most of my life, infact all of my life, and still drink it. I started buying lucozade when i was around 12 - i picked it up in asda, bought it had a sip and i have been hooked ever sinse... i am now 18 and after drinking a bottle almost everyday i have deffinately spent well over £300 on this, i know there are many cheap alternatives, however i feel none of these match up to the value and taste as lucozade sport. I do not like the normal lucozade but hand me a bottle of sport orange and i will be your friend for life... it is brilliant!! I would deffinately ... more

    User doesn't recommend the product

    Advantages Advantages It tastes OK

Disadvantages Disadvantages Its expensive for what it is

This is an expensive drink at about a pound for one standard size from my local newsagents so I expected a decent drink but I didn't get that. For a start I know the sports cap is for fit people who run around doing football or at the gym but surely even they would like to actually be able to open the drink and get liquid out. I did eventually open it but it took me ages. It doesn't taste like anything to do with lucozade, despite the name. Lucozade original isn't healthy but at least when you drink it you get some energy from the sugar and caffeine. However this tastes like rubbish orange ... more
