Advantages: Invigorating smell, soap lasts for ages Disadvantages: Perhaps a little too strong for evening
...a bar of soap from Lush is an experience like no other. Forget plastic, garish bottles of runny liquid soap, or blocks of waxy pre packed soap with synthetic smells bursting with preservatives, Lush soap is as pure and fresh as is possible and can be purchased straight from a huge soap cake if desired where the Lush assistant will happily slice a piece off to your desired size or you can buy it ready wrapped. Priding themselves on being very eco ... ...When you purchase soap from Lush don’t expect fancy wrappers, ribbons and flash packaging. In fact when you come out of a Lush shop with one of their soaps wrapped in the *greaseproof* paper with the pretty green and yellow Lush logo you would be forgiven for thinking it resembled a block of cheese; however, depending on which soap you choose, the delight of unwrapping the soap from it’s protective bindings is a much more thrilling experience than ...

...forever since I wrote a Lush op, so I decided you all deserved another one! This op will probably take me six weeks to write because I’ve just had my nail extensions re done, only they are slightly longer, and I can’t get used to typing with them!
Anyway, this soap has been lying in my Lush box for a couple of weeks, I ordered it with my last Lush online purchase. I’d seen it before, and I was dying to try it. I got it, put it ... ...the Dark. This kind of Lush soap costs £1.95 for 100g. My little bit cost £2.03! The soap is greeny, bluey black, and has a waxy layer on the top. It has quite a marbly affect to it, and looks a bit weird. Weird in a good way though. It reminds me of the pieces of green glass that you find on the beach that has been washed up by the tide.
The smell is great from this sop, it’s so nice. It smells so minty, but not in a toothpaste sort of way, ...

Advantages: Refreshing & Awkening & Vegan friendly! Disadvantages: It doesn't lather up that well
Yet another Lush soap I have tried and tested to great satisfaction! Once again I found myself wondering dangerously close to the Lush store in my home town and I decided just to pop in for a quick look around!! Half an hour later I had purchased a few things together with Demon in the Dark. I had been eyeing up this soap for a while. Unlike some Lushies, I don't hoard soaps and save them for a collection, I hoard them and use them!! So buying a ... ...with my Lush stealing boyfriend!! Demon in the Dark is hardly a demon at all! I think its because of it's colour as there is nothing horrid about this soap! Yes it looks a bit funny but the overall product is fantastic. Apparently the story behind this lovely soap is that around halloween people hold parties where apple bobbing is an often played game and that demons are stereotypically green and also the way the colours are marbled in the soap is ...

Advantages: wakes you up, refreshing, moisturising, smells gorgeous Disadvantages: peeling the wax off can be annoying..
...I would live in a Lush shop. I'd addicted. I think there are two sorts of people in this world. Those who've discovered Lush and adore it, and those who just don't know what they're missing. The second are a really, really sorry bunch of people. It's a mistake many make to confuse the scent of the SHOP with the scent of the products. But no. Big mistake.
Demon In The Dark is one of Lush's many soaps, and probably my favourite (though it's really ... ...The soaps are my favourite Lush products, and this is actually the very first one I tried, because it looked so interesting.
In the shop, most of the soaps come in huge cakes, and the lovely, helpful assistants (they actually LIKE their jobs, you know!) will cut you off a chunk whatever size you fancy. Prices are given per 100g and if I remember rightly, this one is just under £2. I tend to just grab a ready wrapped chunk to save time, and a reasonably ...

Lush make the best soaps in the world. Ok maybe thats a stupid thing to say as I have not tried every single soap in the world. They are certainly the best soaps I have ever used though.
Lush use all natural ingredients in their products. They also make sure that none of the ingredients have been tested on animals. They use as little packaging as possible in their products and any packaging they do use is recycled. You may be thinking, "Wow! What ... ...cause them to be extinct. Lush have changed their soap to a Palm Oil free formula. They now use rapeseed oil and sunflower oil. Although this is obviously helping the environment, there have been noticeable differences in the soaps. They tend to be drier and they lose their colour and fragrance quite quickly. The new formula soaps have been known to dry out hands. For these reasons, many Lushies are begging Lush to find a base which doesn't use Palm ...

Advantages: Smells amazing! Disadvantages: Bit pricey
...i have ever tried from Lush and have bought it several times. The smell is brilliant, appley, very fresh and great for in the morning when you need something to wake you up! The smell did stay on my skin for quite a long time, which is always a bonus. It did lather up very well which is something that i always personally look for in a soap. People always asked what the smell was in my bathroom and it was this bar of soap. It looked amazing and people ... ...but i suppose thats what we have to do if we want nice fresh organic goodies! There was one disadvantage to it, it had a wax layer on the perimeter of the bar and if you drop it in the shower, as you often do with soap, it does leave marks on your bath tub. But i do have a quick way to get it off, a toothbrush and some toothpaste does the trick! It is an expensive soap but i guess its nice to treat yourself some times! ...

The lovely ladies at Lush cut me a 100g slice of this from a huuuuuuge cake of soap, and wrapped it in greaseproof paper sporting the Lush logo over and over, then sealed it with a sticker telling me the weight and use by, and giving a little resume of the soap.
Demon smells of apple and mint and is quite refreshing. It is a hard soap with a black wax ... ...white, giving it a marble effect. It lasts a long time, even with everyday use.
The experience:
Apple is apparently an astringent and the soap also contains peppermint which revitalises and wakes you up! There was also a strange tingling sensation, which I later learned, on asking a sales assistant later, was cloves… The soap lathered well but felt a little scrubby on my skin, no matter, it left me covered in rich thick white foam! It left my skin ...
