Advantages Advantages light, refreshing, good day cream, non-greasy

Disadvantages Disadvantages not very hydrating, still prone to oily patches later in the day

After using Lush's cleansers and seeing good results I thought I'd give their moisturising lotions a try as well. Enzymion is one of the cheaper options from Lush and costs £12.25 for a 45g tub. One pot of this lasted me for around 7 months so even though this was my first 'expensive' moisturiser purchase, it worked out to be good value for the amount of uses I got out of it. I'm now more open to spending more on a better quality lotion with natural ingredients rather than covering my face in cheaper chemical-filled products. For reference, my skin type is oily/combination, and sensitive in ... more

Advantages Advantages Lovely ingredients, great for oily skin

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No sunscreen, expensive

As you will know if you read my reviews regularly, I am trying to work my way through every product made by one of my favourite companies, Lush. Lush are probably best known for their soaps and solid bath products, but they also have a considerable skincare range, including a number of facial moisturisers for pretty much every skin type. Earlier this year I bought a pot of Enzymion moisturiser, and as I have nearly finished the pot I thought the time was right to write a review. ***Tracing the story of Enzymion*** Enzymion is a moisturiser designed for oily skin. The name was inspired by John ... more

4 Stars Are you feeling fruity? Review with images 18/07/2004

Advantages Advantages Smells yummy and makes your skin feel amazing, doesn't bring you out in spots

Disadvantages Disadvantages The packaging and the naff lid that doesn't stay on

In the last couple of weeks I’ve become a Lush addict! I've spent too much money in my local Lush lately so here's a review of one of the many products I have purchased. I love my Clinique products, but amazingly I've found something that works better. I was using the Dramatically different moisturising lotion but unfortunately, now it's summer, (yes I know, looking out the window it doesn't appear to be!) this moisturiser has become too rich for my skin resulting in lots of little spots around my nose and cheek area. But alas! I've found a best friend for summer, Enzymion fruity ... more

Advantages Advantages Stops oily breakthrough without being drying

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit expensive until you realise how little you need to use

This moisturiser is for oily skin and is designed to stop shine, as well as having decongesting ingredients. I have oily skin but most mattifying moisturisers seem to be chalky on my skin or dry it out too much, whereas Enzymion sinks in perfectly and allows foundation to go on smoothly over the top. It also seems to minimise the number of breakouts I get, which is a major plus, and it smells gorgeously fruity rather than that nasty camphor/medicinal/cucumber smell most mattifying moisturisers have. At £10.50 for 45g it is a little on the pricey side but not when you compare it to some of the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Moisturises oily skin

    Disadvantages Disadvantages costly

Enzymion is a Lush facial moisturiser for an oily skin type. The description on the pot is: "fruity moisturiser to liven up oily skin" It comes very smartly packaged in a black tub , very unisex, with the usual Lush logo and info on the lid. One minor little point is that I found the lid a bit awkward, I have to squeeze the base to get the lid on then cream gets under the lid, which I find annoying, well who knows maybe its just me??! The pot is 45g and is one of their more expensive moisturisers at 10 quid, but having a problem skin I thought it was worth a try as I always love lush products ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells lovely, keeps shine at bay.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages no SPF

At last, moisturiser for oily skin that doesn't smell like strange chemicals, this is delicious and fruity and made of organic and natural ingredients, it's not too expensive and you only need a small amount to cover the whole face, it's got a sort of gel-lotion like texture, and it always feels cool and refreshing. I'm quite spotty and this has, if anything helped to clear them up - it definitely hasn't made them worse. I've often used medicated moisturisers before that smelled of chemicals, and I'm not sure that they acutally did their job...or I've used the ones that made your skin look ... more

im not to sure about this because it`s cream and the person could only be just saying that its good and she may use a lot at any one time and so i dont think that it is that good to tell the truth.
