Advantages: Good customer service Disadvantages: big late payment cost
I have had an MBNA Platinum Card for about 18 months and have to say that on the rare occasion that I have had any queries their customer service have been very helpful. As Owenski found, they do charge an £18 late payment fee - this has been charged to me three times and every time this has been due to my bank being late. Advantages: Big limit?? Disadvantages: Too many to mention
...charity makes the most profit MBNA or the Cancer Breakthrough Trust.

I suppose the only downside to this card is that I cannot collect points or airmiles with the money I spend on it, unlike ...

Advantages: You earn holiday points which can be exchanged when booking a holiday and also get discount with Thomas Cook Disadvantages: The special rate of 2.9% is only for 6 months
...to go for the latest MBNA credit card special offer which is basically a credit card linked to Thomas Cook with an interest rate of only 2.9% for 6 months. The great thing about this is that you can transfer any outstanding balances from other cards whose interest rates are much higher and sit back and watch the money you have saved every month. The added bonus is that you automatically get Thomas Cook holiday points for every time you use the card ...
