"I sold the car mentioned below in 2004 to a very helpful Smart Car dealer in Hove,Sussex, because I bought a third car, a Mondeo Estate "banger" for my dogs. The reason for selling was that I could not find an insurance dealer who would insure three cars on the basis that my wife and I would be the only drivers, so one car would always remain undriven. SMART ARRIVES AND JOINS RIP OFF BRITAIN

DisadvantagesVery Expensive repair bills, car only last 35000 miles before worthless

"I purchased my smart pulse in Sept 2001 and I loved it, I loved it so much that I was going to purchase a soft top version next year. However this has now changed. I took my smart to a licensed dealer/service centre for it's 2nd MOT and an A service. My Smart, which has only completed 3500miles, that I treat with tender loving care, failed it's MOT to the tune of £1500. After only 35000 miles it had broken suspension front and rear, broken ..."
