Before I start, let be begin by saying I'm one of the biggest Mini fans out there. I've owned 4 Mini's in my time. 3 old Classics including a lovely R reg Cooper, and the car reviewed below. I have grown up reading Mini books, attending mini shows, have Mini t-shirts. I am a PROPER Mini Fan, so...

The BMW Mini is something of a 'love it, hate it' car. People seem to be put off because you see them everywhere, and they appear to have become somewhat de rigeur for estate agents and the like. Personally I love them, and when we decided to replace our 4 year old Mini One it was a fruitless...

“Cooper S What fun”

published 21/05/2007

Fast, Fun

Bumpy ride

What a car! This little beauty which is so reminiscent of the old mini, goes like the wind. Quaint inside but so much larger than the old mini and the build quality is fabulous. The S is much more fun than the straight cooper and if you like to go fast then this is the car for you. It still...

Have owned the special Mini Cooper S Works GP model for over 3 years now and have to say it's one of the best cars I've ever had. BMW only made 2000 of these back in 2006 and only around 444 came to the UK, so they are quite rare. It is only a two seater as the back incorporates a roll bar to...

Super

Quick, Precise steering, Great Driving Experience....

Heavy, Average Traction Control.

A superb car, with precise german engineering, the Mini Cooper S, in my opinion is one of the most loved Hatcbacks in the world. With heavy, but precise steering to accuratly take on even the tightest corner and a heavy clutch/gearbox which gives the feel of being in a little racer. I myself have...

Drove on of these recently - really good fun. Such great acceleration and what a gearbox! So easy to drive and feels amazing. Unfortunatly the poor MPG and so on makes it a nono for owning one - but i really really like this car! Love the layout and interior - build quality is exceptional

“mini mini for meeeee....”

published 14/05/2014

its a mini

fuel consumption

I have always dreamed of owning a mini. At the young age of 42 I could finally afford my first mini. What a dream, I've called her Harriet. I love it. So easy to drive and deceivingly spacious inside. The boot can hold 2 Morrison's bags for life bags full of shopping which isn't a bad thing, at...
