Advantages: Linear, clear sound. No vents!!! Calibrating switches. Disadvantages: If anyone can find one... let me know please!
The first ever Active Mackie HR624 to come out was pretty much the most precise near field monitor that you could get for its kind of price.
In this review I will not concentrate so much on each individual feature, as all have worked brilliantly for me. You can find the list in the specs sheet if you're not lazy. I will instead focus on the features that I found were most important to me when looking to buy this as well as the most outstanding features ... ...design, owning a pair of Mackie near field monitors is like saying look at me, I'm a pro... and I don't even need to say a word. And in terms of sound it is one of the flattest frequency response monitors in the market at this sort of price.
