Double the delight

AdvantagesEasy to push and store, easy to fit into cars

"...my needs, I choose the Maclaren Daytripper Side by Side, in red and dark blue. This model is great as it was slighty narrower than most side by sides, so it fits through most doorways, It has 2 seat posistions either upright or almost laying flat, It also has 2 shopping baskets located underneath the seats, It has one large hood instead of 2 singles, which have 2 large pockets located at the back of the hood, the hood is also completly removable. ..." A brilliant buggy

AdvantagesGreat Value, light and stylish

DisadvantagesRaincover is on the skimpy side

"...and my choice was the Maclaren Daytripper. I bought my buggy for £65 including raincover, net bag and hood and as I don't drive the fact that it only weighs 14lb made it a plus for bus journeys. It has umbrella closing and shuts without the need to manually close it. Thank you maclaren

Advantagescheap and lightweight

"...I found this - the maclaren daytripper complete set. It was the best value stroller around. Just £69.99 for the stroller and hood and the rain cover. It was the best decision that I've made for ages. It folds down easily just using one foot which is handy when you're trying to balance an 8 month old with one arm. It weighs just 6.5 kg so less than your child. Also because of its two position seat, your child can snooze easily without being uncomfortable. ..." Read review

Useful - but only in limited situations

DisadvantagesFlimsy, uncomfortable

"...heavy and bulky. I got the Maclaren cheap (£35 from Costco) as it was about to be discontinued, and I think I would have been very disappointed if I had paid full price for it. For a start, although it is suitable from 3 months, the recline is so slight that a 3 month baby (who is likely to sleep a lot) could not possibly be comfortable in it when asleep. Even a 6 month baby would struggle. Added to that, the seat is shallow (too shallow for ..." Read review
