Advantages Advantages Effective, and helps to restore teeth whiteness.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes at least a month before it shows any effect, and results are very gradual.

I am loving this at the moment, because I have started to see results from using this toothpaste. Special features: ****************** This contains a unique triclene formula with whitening micro-particles. As well as helping to protect against plaque and decay it also has an enamel protection system. It whitens by breaking up, lifting away and preventing stains. Use: ***** As with normal toothpaste, just regular twice a day brushing with a small amount on the toothbrush. The packaging does actually advise on continuously using this for at least 28 days before any effects take place. This also ... more

Since giving up smoking, I always keep an eye out for any toothpaste that claims it whitens your teeth. One of these products is Macleans toothpaste. Packaging This product comes in the usual cardboard box which is silver with the Macleans logo written on it. Inside, the toothpaste comes in a bog standard tube which again is silver is colour with red detail on it. The lid to the toothpaste screws on and off and is therefore very easy to use. Cost I buy this product from Tesco's and quite often it is on some sort of special offer which is usually buy 2 for £3.00 which works out at £1.50 per ... more

    Advantages Advantages Nice fresh taste

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly pricey, but look out for offers

I have to be honest and say that I was never really a believer in whitening toothpastes. The other half has always used this though and couldn't be budged so I had to give in. Now the first thing to say is that this isn't for you if you don't like freshmint. That's the only flavour it comes in - for me toothpaste has to be freshmint as it leaves my mouth feeling a lot fresher. Packaging; This toothpaste comes in the bog standard cardboard box as you can probably see from the picture on this page. The tube is plastic although it does mould to shape so it's easier to get the last dregs of the ... more

    Advantages Advantages it works well

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none at all

I have used Macleans toothpaste for years now and it has been around for donkeys. I remember my mother buying this brand when I was little. This is a fairly new paste on the market and another one aimed at those of us who are trying to get the perfect white and bright smile. I bought this for 99p from Home Bargains but the one I got was nearly out of date I think and seemed a bit dry to me. I have since bought another couple of tubes and they have both been fine and moist. This paste is advertised as having micro whitening particles and triclene formula which is supposed to help whiten, clean ... more

I am writing this review of Macleans Whiteing toothpaste because of something I discovered a few months ago. I looked in the mirror and noticed that my teeth were decidedly dingy, and wondered what I could d about it. As I am a receptionist in a rather upmarket finance house, I need to smile all the time, so it is important that my smile looks good. My best friend has always had lovely white sparkly teeth, so I asked for her advice. She told me that she always used MacleansTooth Whitener, and, like me, had once had teeth that were off-white, but after using Macleans Tooth whitener, her teeth ... more
