Disadvantages: Nasty attitude, don't pay on time, badly prepared paperwork.

What a horrible little company this is. The jobs are badly composed and administered, the staff are rude (to the point of being abusive)and they hardly ever pay the fees on time. They lie constantly, abuse the system, take advantage and treat many of their shoppers like dirt. Many people have been left in tears by this vile firm. MacPherson Mystery Shopping has to be the worst mystery shopping company I have ever come across. It started out well with them offering me 2 visits to a well respected high street store in May and June, the visits seemed to pay well and I had to make a purchase which I would receive a refund for. Don't sign up for these as the receivers are in, although I have heard on the grapevine they have started paying some shoppers. They have operated under many different names, so watch out for any new company in the Yorkshire area in case they manage to find a way to reinvent the company under a new name !! I started Mystery Shopping early last year and this is one of the companies i've registered with. Out of all of the companies I work for this is the company who have offered me the least work although this isn't necessaily a bad thing, I sometimes struggle to fit in all of my mystery shopping commitments Nearly a year after I registered I was asked if I would be a 'letterbox' for them. I'm a little surprised that this company is still operating. There are so many other Mystery Shopping companies around who are more professional, have a better attitude, pay their staff on time and don't tell so many lies. MacPherson Mystery Shopping don't pay on time and make up the most pathetic excuses you can possibly imagine. The directors lie through their teeth. ...asking them to intervene. Macpherson paid me this week by cash into my current account as they wrote on the pay slip they no longer exist. They have reformed as mysterium247 and the office contact is GEMMA. Every time i called she said the directors were unavailable and she was the office contact and then put the phone down.
