...smelling nice. That's where Magic Tree comes in. They're probably best known for manufacturing those incredibly strong pine scented mini-trees that are much beloved of taxi drivers (in case you're still not sure what I'm talking about, it's the aroma in the taxi that pushes you from 'feeling a bit queasy after one too many vodkas' to 'vomiting freely into your handbag'). They do, however, also manufacture ones that are slightly more pleasing in an ... ...disappointed to learn, though, that magic trees are not actually magic. Not even in a crap magic way, like Paul Daniels. If you think you can purchase one to have it entertain you with card tricks you're going to be very disappointed indeed. Nor, technically, are they trees. They are tree-shaped though, which makes the whole deception a bit more palatable, I suppose.

...car drivers with a dead magic tree hanging from your car mirror that hasn't smelled of anything since 1989? I knew it. No, it doesn't last forever, you do have to throw it away and buy a new one. Come on now, they're only a couple of quid! New Year New Tree and all that. Chuck out the crimbo one and get one of these instead. I have been so bored by my morning commute (I don't do the driving, he does, as I am half dead until we nearly get there) that ... ...day I decided to count magic trees in other cars. (Probably best not to ask, to be honest.) And on average, given a population of commuters to Edinburgh, I'd have to say there's about a four percent dead-tree ratio. Honest, about one in 20 cars has a dead tree. Ok, so it may not be dead, it may be in its seventh week. What, all of them? I don't think so. You see, the magic tree has a lifespan of seven whole weeks. I know this as I read the back of ...

~ ~ OK. Picture the scene if you will.
It’s Saturday, 13th July 2002 and I’m on my way from Dublin up to Fairyhouse Racecourse in Co. Meath with four young ones (two males and two females) in the taxi who are heading for the HUGE open-air concert (Witnness) that was held here in Dublin this past weekend. (over 40,000 peeps)
They are all (how will I put it politely?) slightly the ‘worse for wear’, but since I am getting €75 ... ...it’s not my business anyway! Mind you, I should have sussed they were trouble when one of the girls jumped out of the taxi while we were stuck in a traffic jam on the motorway, and promptly dropped her drawers to take a leak on the hard shoulder, in full view of all the other cars!! (Even ‘mad cabbies’ can get it wrong sometimes!!)
When they go to disembark I spot they’ve been drinking cans of Miller beer in the back seat. ...

...of you have heard of magic trees and know that they are not only designed for cars but can also be used around the home or in caravans or basically any where that is likely to get a bit niffy. I am a big fan of these because they work; it is as simple as that. However be very careful which scent you choose, some are very nice and some are absolutely horrible.
Let’s start with the ones to avoid, wild cherry, berries and spice, rosemusk which smells ... ...came my first encounter with magic trees. My mum had warned me that I was grounded if she found out that I had been out in the car with this guy and that my up coming weekend away would be cancelled. Not wanting to miss out on my weekend away I had to be really careful not to get caught so when he dropped me off that night I got dropped off a good long way away from my house and walked home as if I had been at my usual hangout. Product History
--------------------
Magic Tree Car Air Fresheners are actually made by a company called Saxon. They have been number one choice for car drivers for over 50 years. They have a wide range of fragrances (around 35) and are constantly bringing out new ones to keep on top of the car-freshener market. They have recently brought out a new "Jet-Fresh" ... ...and Packaging
-------------------------
The Magic Tree surprisingly or not comes in the shape of a Christmas tree and contained within only a cellophane wrapper. I have purchased the "Alpine Fresh" fragrance so mine is green in colour.
I paid 98 pence for this in Morrison's petrol station and have seen them in almost every petrol station around for about the same price. There were other brands available that were slightly cheaper but I thought ...

Magic Tree Car Air Freshener
There is nothing worse than getting into a smelly car and having a bit of a old banger to drive around in I try and make sure that the interior at least looks and smells alright. I find if you eat a lot of take always in your car, which is very much what I do, then you will have a much dirtier and smellier interior than others. The best air freshener I have found so far would the old time classic of the Magic Tree Air ... ...is shaped in the classic Magic Tree design, which is a pine tree rather like the style of a Christmas tree. The colour is a dark green and there is an elasticised loop fixed to the top of the tree that allows the air freshener to be hung in various places all over the car.
The best thing about these Magic Tree Air Fresheners is that they seem to last for such a long time. This is because they have a unique opening method, which enables the Air Freshener ...

...most common car freshener, the Magic Tree.
I don't personally own a car but my older sister always buys these and nothing else. Even some of my friends have them also, infact, anyone that i know who has a car has these dangling under their mirror. Variety of use: Well although this little thing is mainly used to dangle under your mirror, it can also be used for around the house. My dear gran has a tendancy to do this. it's always nice to step into her hallway ...

I bought this Magic Tree airfreshener today from halford and paid 99p. Its a green looking pine tree and quite often seen hanging in many a car.
Its a car airfreshener that has been around for absolutely donkeys years and is the most popular brand amongst car drivers.
There are lots of different fragrances but mine was a alpine fresh which i chose as i thought it sounded pretty manly.
i only washed my car for the first time in an age yesterday ... ...treat it to a little hoover.
I got this in halfords but i have seen it avalible in many a petrol station for around the same bargain price.
the beauty with this tree is it goes on smelling for a good while. The trick is to release it slowly from the clear wrapping that it come in. Each time you start to get a bit of a pong you slide it out of its wrapper a bit further.
Its easily hung from my indicator arm and goes unnoticed swinging about. I ...

Quick review of Magic Tree Tree Car Air Freshener
I bought this product, hoping for the delightful smell of "new" again. The horrible, sickly sweet smell reminds me (strongly) of little old ladies who walk past you in public places- smelling as though they bathed in cheap perfume. My whole family agreed, and after trying to stomach it for a day or two, I threw it away with a venomous fling. This is not a product you should even waste your time with....it's not just that I don't like it personally, but I guarantee you that it smells NOTHING like a new car - no matter how creative your imagination. ...

I bought this today thinking that I could once again enjoy that 'new car smell' which has been gone about 6 months back. I opened the pack and phew what a pong! It smelt of cheap perfume. We bought it from Tesco and after about a mile had to open the windows to try and get rid of the smell.
