    As some of you out there may know, I was present at the drinking session better known as the Ciao Meet in Birmingham. And as some of you may also know, we all had a bit of a problem with the sauna-like conditions of the Britannia Hotel on the very hot day we all met there. Coming from a cold climate, we Scots need a bit more cooling down than you southeners, so it was a great relief that I spotted a can of Magicool on the shelf in Boots!     If the last few days are anything to go by, you’ll need to buy one (or several) of these yourself! The last few days we’ve had gorgeous hot weather and thanks to my Gatineau tan accelerator, I now have a fantastic brown bod! But when it’s as hot as it has been, how can you take a shower to cool off several times a day? You can’t basically, so get the next best thing – Magicool.     Magicool Magicool is described as "your very own, personal, air-conditioner in a can" My experience of Magicool Last summer I lived in an extremely hot basement flat in central London and spent most nights unable to sleep due to the ridiculously hot weather. It was the week before my graduation day and I could not work out how I was going to handle the day dressed in heavy black robes in that heat.     MAGICOOL I saw an advert for Magicool a couple of days ago and it stayed in my mind (what can I say; I'm a sucker for adverts!). Today is one of the hottest days I have experienced in Aberdeen so I decided to equip my flat for these tropical temperatures. On my way to Argos for a new Fan (and any other cooling gadget I could find) Boots and the memory of Magicool was calling me. What is Magicool?     Although we're not getting the hot summer we had last year, we're still getting a few days where it's REALLY warm out there! I did go into Argos on one of these hot days to get a fan, but they had sold out. I thought nothing else of it as we got rain after that! But now the sun has got his hat on again (sometimes!), I need something to cool down. I had seen the Magicool advert on telly before, but thought nothing of it until I saw it again the other day.     Having just seen an advert the other day for Magicool, it reminded me that I had some left from last year. The makers claim it can keep you cool. Either whilst trying to get to sleep on a hot muggy night, or whilst basking in the sun, or sitting in a nice hot car. Does it do the job though, you all ask. ...... Yes..... HOW MUCH DOES IT COST Well I bought it last July, my boss told me about it. I never saw any advertising campaign for it last year though. The price is expensive, from memory it cost about £4.     In Edinburgh, where I live recently the temperatures have been really high. It all started last week when I was at the beach, the heat was immense. I was boiling hot and with temperatures of 30 degrees it only means burning and feeling so hot, that muggy feeling is horrible. I know you can buy these mini fans but I feel they just blow hot air at you and drinking water is cool but it doesn't cool you right down and still leaves you dying of heat.     What am i reviewing? I am reviewing a product called Magicool, a must have cooling spray for hot sticky days, described as "your very own air conditoner in a can" its a must have this summer...if it actualy gets here lol.     Magicool is an innovative new formula that works by cooling the air around you. Basically, it’s an air conditioner in a can and can be used in any situation, and is also suitable to people with sensitive skin. Just in case, try in on a small patch of yourself first, but I have eczema and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. To top it all off, it’s non-toxic and CFC free so it does no harm to the environment.     When I first bought this after seeing an advert for it I didn't know what to expect as I didn't see how something in a can could cool you down. I thought maybe it would be a cool fragrance that would sort of make you feel cooler without actually cooling anything. After the first time I tried it though I realised this product is really a must have for hot summers. Magicool is sold in aerosol cans, the largest holding 200ml which is quite big but there are two smaller sizes available which would be better for travelling with.
