    We treated ourselves to one of these machines at Christmas with a degree of trepidation. Earlier forays into the world of the coffee-maker have usually ended with disappointment at the sheer inconvenience of the procedure. But not in this case. The Magimix Nespresso machine is in daily use and, even if you're not keen on drinking coffee, the aroma as it operates is almost worth the price alone! It looks very smart on the worktop.     Advantages Advantages Quick to prepare coffee, very hot drinks prepared, range of flavours and strengths

    Disadvantages Disadvantages coffee pods are slightly expensive (but worth it for the taste!)

    I was bored one day in a department store and took a demonstration of the Citiz coffee machine. I was so glad I did as it makes the best home coffee I have ever tasted. The machine takes coffee pods which I buy on line from the Nespresso website. They cost 23p each and there are a range of flavours and strengths (16 choices in total). The machine is really easy to use. You fill it up with water, wait for it to heat up in a couple of minutes, insert your coffee pod, press a button and hey presto, your coffee is being prepared.     Being a coffee snob I treated myself to the Magimix 11300 Nespresso CitiZ & Milk M190 a couple of weeks ago when I saw a bargain in Comet (online). I fell in love with this coffee (and machine) about a year ago at a friend’s house but juct couldn't justify buying yet another coffee machine! but say it in comets for £190, then looked online it was a tenner cheaper so I had to get it - cheapest I'd seen in any store before was £215 The actual machine - simple to set up and beyond easy to use.     Having had this coffee machine for 3 months now i think it is fantastic. The nespresso system is very easy to use, simply enter the capsule and select either lungo -large cofffe or espresso - small coffee- and the machine automatically makes the coffee. With a large range of different capsules availible it is easy to get whatever taste you like from coffee. However despite being so simple this machine creates amzaingly good coffee!     The Nespresso Citiz & Milk is a really great capsule expresso machine. If you like coffee drinks with milk foam this is the machine to get! The design of the machine is great, small and neat and you can still make any kind of coffee with it. The milk foamer is great. You can choose to get your milk warm or cold. warm for lattes and cappuccinos for example, and cold for iced-latte and frappuccinos. The coffee maker is easy to use and to take care of.     We truly don't know what we would do without this machine now. I can hand on heart say that this machine creates THE BEST espresso and frothy milk EVER!! My partner arrived from having been living in Portugal for 2 years and having a total reliance upon a good coffee first thing and so to help ease the disappointment of being back in the cloudy, rather cold UK, I invested in this machine and I have never looked back. You are made to feel very special as you need to join the Nespresso club in order to order your pods online (which come within 2 days of ordering). They average about 30pence per ... more
