...I find it's very good. Magimix boast of Sabatier hand sharpened blades. I don't know too much about Sabatier blades, but they just whizz through everything, creating really smooth purees, while the pulse button allows you to chop things more coarsely when required, e.g. chopping herbs or mincing meat. I received this as a Christmas present after my parents saw me struggle with a hand whisk and I haven't looked back since. Dislikes There are many different tools and attachments which come with the blender which claim to do a wide range of things. My only one problem is that the instruction book comes in 3 different languages which are set out both together in some sections and then separate in others. I found the magimix food processor a fantastic tool. I have used it so far for making cakes, curry, smoothies, soups, sauces and a number of other dishes and I'm very pleased with the results. The engine is fairly quiet, and very powerfull. It is garanteed for 12 years so magimix would have to be pretty sure it's reliable before offering such garanty.
