Advantages: Good as a travel system Disadvantages: Not great as a pushchair
...Argos catalogue. We saw the Mamas and Papas Aria, it came as a pushchair on its own for £99.99, or along with the Primo Viaggio and Mamas and Papas accessories for £129.99. We decided to go for it as a package, again saving money.
~*~*~FEATURES~*~*~
-Suitable from birth to 3 years. -Floating 5 point harness, allowing the child to move around. This is fine for a toddler, but not so much for a baby.
-Multi position backrest, adjusted by a toggle ... ...wheels, although I never used them.
-Large shopping basket. I proved its strength when carrying most of our shopping back from the supermarket inside the basket, even tins.
-Rain cover included, the rain cover will fit over the pushchair and car seat if using it as a travel system. -Bumper bar tray with cup holder. -Free standing when folded.
- Surefix one click system that fastens the Primo Viaggio Group 0+ car seat. It took me a few times to ...

Advantages: Comes with loads of extras Disadvantages: Too many to list here.
...be even available in the Mamas and Papas stores, or even on-line. In hindsight, I suppose alarm bells should have been ringing. When I bought this, I paid £99.99, although the price has since dropped to £69.99. It also came with a 6 month manufacturer guarantee.
So, what did I get for my money.

Luckily I got the pushchair delivered, as it came in a very large, heavy box, that contained everything. So after I emptied all ... ...have to finish building it. The wheels, a bar at the back conecting the wheels, the shopping basket, and of couse the extras.
The wheels did need a bit of jiggling to get them to connect to the frame, but once fitted they are impossible to disconnect, so care does have to be taken that the wheels are put in the right place. The extras that came with this included a play tray/bumper bar to fit at the front for the child to use to play with toys whilst ...

After 6 months of putting up with this pushchair/travel system, I've finally gone out and bought a Maclaren stroller, mainly as my daughter was so uncomfortable I had to keep getting her out and carrying her. The pushchair and car seat were bought as a travel system. The description appeared to tick all the boxes (suitable from birth, lightweight, accessories included etc). However, it's not until you start using a pushchair, that you can see how ... ...it with the car seat attached as a travel system. This was ideal when going to the shops in the car, and the car seat looked more comfortable than the pushchair. However there was no way to lay the baby down flat, and with hindsight I'd rather have had a pushchair with a carrycot when going out for walks or longer periods.
As my daughter got older she became more interested in her surroundings and wanted to sit up so from 3-6 months I started putting ...

Advantages: Price, weight and extras Disadvantages: Foot clearance for taller people
...were nearly that at the Mamas & Pappas store. I have never had the need for a pushchair before so cannot compare it to anything else.
I did however look at quite a few others and decided without spending quiet a lot of money they were all pretty plastic and not going to last much longer than for 1 or 2 children. I guess I wanted something light also as my wife is on quite slight and did not want her struggling . I have no real complaints at all ... ...what respect it is dangerous.
My wife is more than happy with it and likes the storage area underneath. I do think it would benefit from being one hand collapsible and opening and yes it is rather large when collapsed. I am 6ft tall and find it a little awkward to push as I keep kicking the brake bare so have lean slightly which can become uncomfortable after a while.
All in all it was a quick, cost effective travel solution that serves our purpose ...

Advantages: value for money, lightweight Disadvantages: not one handed collapse
We bought this from Argos as a travel system to save money. I find it very easy to push and steer being so light weight. Its easy to put up, but collapsing takes a bit of practice (especially if you misplace the instructions!!) But after a week I could do it easily, the same goes for putting the car seat in the car. Our seatbelts don't retract so it can be fiddly, especially if you can't open the car door fully, but after practice it gets easier. ... ...a problem if you have a baby in your arms.
The rain cover baffled me to start with, and I'm still not sure I'm using it correctly, but ot covers all the baby and buggy and thats all that matters. Storage tray fits everything I need that won't go in her changing bag. I don't use the bag that came with it as its not big enough-I pack for every eventuality so need the space, and my change bag fits over the handle nicely. A problem did occur with the ...

Advantages: Lightweight, nice looking, handy food tray good raincover Disadvantages: Bulky when folded, some find difficult to steer due to being lightweight
As previous reviews, I purchased mine from Argos, I already had a Pliko but due to a neck injury needed something lighter. The Aria fit the bill and we used it as a travel system with the primo viagio car seat and I have to say this was a great item, so much easier to get in/out of car when raining than previous carseat used for my older child.
There are a few downsides to the Aria which are:
- Sun/Rain canopy too short and doesn't give enough ... ...- okay to recline almost impossible to get back into seated position with child in seat
- Shopping basket, although nice and big very difficult to get any shopping in when seat reclined.
- Raincover, lovely heavy-duty plastic however doesn't fold well and takes up all the basket.
- Very difficult to fold pushchair with footmuff attached
- Quite buly when folded as not umbrella mechanism
For what we paid I'm happy with my purchase, and my daughter ...

Advantages: lightweight ,easy to fold & unfold. Disadvantages: none found
I chose the Aria because it is lightweight and large enough for my 16 month old grandson to sit in comfort and safety .
I find the backrest easy to adjust and it stays in place .The raincover cover folds away easily and serves it's purpose.
The Aria pushes easily ,even one handed, and the steering is good .The large fixed basket holds all we need for a day out .
After the first few times of folding and unfolding the pushchair folded with ease, however ...

Advantages: Light weight, compact Disadvantages: didnt like the harness
...can get are also great!
Mamas and Papas are a well known brand and the aria is a great addition!
When you first get it, it does take a bit of putting together - although this is only putting the wheels on! These can be taken off again if need be by squeezing the underneath of them (I sold one of the 2 that I had and got it back in the original box with the wheels successfully removed!)
I love the fact that you can get a car seat attached to it, ... ...the harness. As with all mamas & papas the harness is not attached at the top of the back rest, it is just like a set of reigns attached at the waist. My son is very fidgety and i didnt feel comfortable with him being able to move around so much, especially as he could pull himself forward on the snack tray.
I think that these pushchairs are great value for money and good quality and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it! ...

i bought this going to 2 years now,we started using it when he was one month and the buggy cost us £99.99 at argos.it is not a bad buggy but the only disadvantage is that when folded it gets more spaces unlike the new buggies out now even in the car ,you stilll need space for it to keep.i love it because it is good for shopping out because of the large basket underneath.we were given a free bag{rusksack}which is too big to carry with the buggy,so ...
