Advantages: Light and easy to manoeuvre, stylish, good value. Disadvantages: Like most "travel systems" it's bulkier than a buggy.
I bought this travel system in a swivel wheel version a year ago. I knew I wanted a three-wheeler and, having gone round the shops trying them all out and boring my husband, the first thing that struck me about this one was how much lighter and easier to handle the "Sport" version is than the others in the 03 range, or indeed any of the other brands in the same price range. You can fix the front wheel when you want to "off-road" or let it swivel ... ...has a multi-adjustable handle so is suitable for baby-pushers big and small.
I also bought the System 03 car seat which attaches to the pushchair in a rear-facing position. This makes the pushchair suitable from birth up to 15kg (approx 3 years), with the baby riding in the car seat for the first nine months or so, then graduating to the main forward facing seat, which has an adjustable back in case baby wishes to recline!
So after nine months ...

Advantages: Lovely looks, value, large seat, adjustable handle just great!!! Disadvantages: Is very large and heavy but if you do alot walking is great!
Well this is actually my 3rd pushchair for my now 2 year old son. I had an Emmaljunga Cerox from birth which I loved but he's now too big for then I got a Jane Energy stroller but hated the lightweight umbrella fold, double handle thing! I've only had this for about 3 weeks now and I love it! It folds very easily but no compact at all. You just have to pull up a small tab on one side of the handle push the other side down and pull 2 small tabs up ... ...on the side. As mentioned it is large and heavy but I use the handle and wheel it along like a suitcase when it's folded! The seat unit is bsolutely huge and by far th comfiest I've seen for a large child it is well padded and will last until around 4 I reckon. The thing I like best about the seat is the fact it sits up straight unlike some others which seem to be slightly lean back. It is simple to move using the webbing strap on the back it just ...

Advantages: you can push it anywhere! Disadvantages: bulky for public transport/small car
I had been thinking of buying a 3 wheel pushchair for a while but had no idea which one. As soon as I came across the citi sport in a shop, I loved the look of it. It appeared well made and heavy duty. The one thing I will point out about it's looks is it's masculinity! Black and bold in colour so men will be just as happy pushing this pushchair as the women.
I decided to give the citi sport a practice push around the shop and was pleased with it's ... ...3 wheel pushchairs so it's a little harder to get around corners. It is a little bulky to store/put in a small car boot, but you can remove the wheels easily to make it more compact.
The real test came when I was on holiday . It was amazing!! This pushchair will go anywhere. Up hills, down gravel paths, over the beach! YES the beach! The only place it won't go so easily is onto a public transport. This pushchair is very heavy to be hauled up onto ...

Advantages: Sturdy, looks amazing, hard wearing Disadvantages: heavy to lift, large in size even when folded
...on ebay. Admittedly the mamas and papas 03 sport did look amazing, still does infact and can be pushed with great pride as onlookers not only coo at your baby but at this impressive monster of a travel system.
The car seat is easily detachable, after a little practise and is easy to strap into the car. Baby seems very comfy and doesn't seem scrunched up in it, as other babies often seem in theirs. It is however a little heavy for carrying on its ... ...the pram out of the boot.
When she is in the pram ( without the car seat attached) it makes me very sleepy and envious that I don't have a giant comfy bed to be wheeled about town in.
The pram is easy to fold and unfold, however it is very diffficult to lift into the boot, particulary after a caesarean, I couldn't manage this until fairly recently (10 weeks later!). When the pram is in the boot, don't plan on driving far, particularly if you have ...

Quick review of Mamas & Papas 03 series sport
A bit too bulky and heavy compared to the jane Slalom Pro buggy.
No option of removing the seat you are not using, neither is there an oprtion of infant carrier laying flat.
Good price though and quite a robust buggy, compared to the quinny 3-wheeler. ...

Advantages: Cheap - but you get what you pay for! Disadvantages: Poor build quality that doesn't last
My son is now nine months old and we have been using the 03 Sport buggy and travel system since birth. As a three wheel buggy it is a "no frills" basic system which we were extremly happy with, we felt that it wasn't overly bulky or heavy compared to other 3 wheelers. However, ever since we bought this buggy we have had problems with it. The first problem was when in the unlocked position the front wheel would cause the whole buggy to shake violently ... ...holding the front wheel by half a turn. Since then one of the rear wheels developed a loud squeek - they swapped the wheels over at it solved the sqeeking problem however, now the same rear wheel completley falls out whilst we are out walking and if we pick the buggy up it just dropps out! Other problems we have had during the nine months includes the front wheel locking system no longer works, the stiching around the zip on the hood has come apart, ...

Advantages: Great Offroader Disadvantages: Very bulky for travel
...the 03 Series Sport from Mamas and Papas. I would describe this as a mid to upper range pushchair. It comes in at around £300.00 if you include the travel seat for the car.
The chair is very simple to put together, although it is quite bulky to fit into the average boot. We have an MPV, which is a perfect size for the chair. We have been on numerous walks in what you might describe as an offroad capacity and have found the pushchair to be perfect. ... ...only had one puncture in just over 1 year, which was simple to replace at the local bike shop.
The travel seat is simple to put into place in the car and clips into the pushchair with the same ease. Our little one seemed to find it very comfortable. Overall, I would say the pushchair has been a very good buy. It is very hard in this market to find an item that fits perfectly into your requirements and I am sure there is one somewhere that is better ...

I have to admit i am a self confessed shopaholic for prams !! I am now onto my 4th and this is def the best i have bought.
My son is 9.5mnth and he seems the most comfortable in this.
I bought it approx 2 weeks ago and it has been on sale since sep 03. The 03 series sport comes in 2 colours : black and red or black and yellow.
Some highlights of this pushchair are:
a) Very stylish looking
b) nicely padded seat
c) 5 point harness
d) Footrest
... ...h) tyre pump available to buy
There is one thing that makes it different from most other pushchairs : this is the fact that it does not have a bumper bar. In my case this is great as my son uses it to pull himself up !! But if you like a bumper bar there is no way of fixing one on.
I did state on the disadvantages that the handle height cant be changed but i am 5ft 5 and my partner is 6ft and it is a comfortable height for both of us.
I also found ...

Advantages: Goes anywhere, looks fab Disadvantages: One flimsy catch.
I've had this 2 and a half years and it's still going strong. Bought new from ebay shop for £112 (currently £180 MRP). Mine is swivel wheel (they used to do a fixed wheel version)
Absolutely no problems with wheels/stitching, it's solidly put together.
No problems with the seating position. The position in the car seat was great, baby was not scrunched up at all and her back was flat.
A bit clunky to fold, the two side buttons on the handle need ... ...so it can't be done one handed. Sure it's fairly big and heavy but it's not sold as a lightweight compact buggy.
The only irritating feature was that the catch that holds it shut is one flimsy plastic hook which sometimes flips undone when you are lifting.
Apart from that I cannot fault this buggy, it goes anywhere and looks the business. ...

Advantages: Great on both tough terrain and whizzing round the shops Disadvantages: Heavy, difficult to fold down, strange seating position
This is my first baby and my first ever pushchair. As I live in the countryside, quite close to the beach I really wanted a 3-wheel all terrain pushchair. For bumpy roads and sand the 03 series Sport is excellent, you really can go anywhere. With the option of a swivel and/or fixed wheel it also means bombing around the shops is very easy. However the pushchair is virtually impossible to fold down with only 2 hands. I end up having to use my teeth, ... ...inot the boot of my car. On top of that it is extremely heavy, so deceptive with the swivel wheel. The worst thing I have found though is the sitting position. When my daughter was tiny we had to put a cushion under her bottom otherwise she would be in such a scrunched up position when lying down. Even now she is older and sitting up, the upward sitting position is still very uncomfotable for her. This was one of the cheaper 3-wheelers and we got ...
