Advantages: The amazing use of the two screens, the excellent dialogue, the clever little puzzles. Disadvantages: Its a bit easy short and linear

A good start for Partners in time then. Just like its predecessor, Superstar Saga, it's not just a celebration of all things Mario, it's a real class act in terms of dialog, scripting ... ...their best loved Mascot, (and friends) and deliver something that feels fresh.
At it's heart though its a pretty simplistic RPG. You have the usual trappings - a central hub of sorts, diverse locations to explore which end - perhaps a little too predictably - in the obligatory "Dungeon" and boss. And the graphics dio their job, bright 2d images, clear crisp and suit the game perfectly.
