    Advantages Advantages Multiplayer especially the mini games

    Disadvantages Disadvantages 1 player

    I have had this game for a few years and i still get my N64 out to play it whenever my mates come round, but i would never play it in 1 player. With buckets of new mini-games and a new Duel mode, you'd be forgiven for initially thinking this is an all-singing, all-dancing fresh experience. Which it ain't. Though mindless mini-games are fun, after a few days of controlling the little plumber through tiny and restrictive scenarios, you'll be longing for the kind of meaty gameplay and free landscapes found in Mario 64.     Mario Party 3. What is with all the sequels? Can nobody think of an original idea? Well yes… play Mario party 3 and you will understand. Similar but different to the first and second Mario parties. It features Mario and his friends- and they want to have a party? Well to be honest, the gamer needs a party. Invite your mates over, grab four controllers- Special Reserve will supply you with some I am sure, and play this fantastic game.     Advantages Advantages Around 80 totally new mini-games!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lacks in one-player mode, too much like its predecessors.

    This is a review of the Japanese version of the game, as the English version has yet to come out. Before I start, let's go over the first 2 Mario Party games. The original one was revolutional, and spawned such titles as Crash Bash on Playstation, and Sonic Shuffle on Dreamcast. Then Mario Party 2 was released, and it was a bit of a disappointment in the eyes of many. Half of the brilliant mini-games we had seen in the first game, and it had not improved in parts that the first game was lacking in.
