Advantages: Hours of fun, for the whole family
Disadvantages: You arms can ache.

...on the Sega consoles and Mario on the Nintendo console. So I was amazed when I noticed the both sonic and Mario had been brought together for the first time in this Olympic Games wii game. OLYMPIC GAMES This is unlike any other older Mario of Sonic Platform game, it is basically made up of many mini games, which are based around the Olympic Games. The object of the game is to compete against the computer or other opponents, and gain a winning ... Read review

Now you can win a Gold
Review of Mario & Sonic At the Olympic Games (Wii) by amyprincess

Advantages: lots to do, great fun, great graphics, good for family of all ages
Disadvantages: my arms got tired very quickly, some bits were too tricky

...tells you everything. It is Mario and Sonic at the olympics doing normal olympic games. The game has fed off the excitement of the Beijing olympics so now I wonder if anyone will buy it. There are 24 events that you can play on which are all based on events you would see at the olympics. You can play these events either in single match or circuit mode. In single match mode you choose to play only one of the events at a time, in circuit mode there ... Read review

Mario & Sonic - A golden game
Review of Mario & Sonic At the Olympic Games (Wii) by Superkeeper

Advantages: Various events, multiplayer
Disadvantages: none

Mario and Sonic. For gamers and cartoon fans, it is a match made in heaven. Move over fish and chips or Ant and Dec, there is a new double act here. GENERAL GAMEPLAY: Like its sports predecessors, such as Wii Sports and to a certain Pro Evo 08, this game takes full use of the Wii remote. Mostt noticable for the running style, you have to move the remote (and nunchuk) up and down as quickly as possible to run faster. Sounds simple, but after a ... Read review

Advantages: good graphics, makes good use out of the Wii controls in some games,

The game features a whole load of events such as athletics, gymnastics, shooting, rowing, archery, aquatics, fencing, and table tennis also included the dream events. The dream events are nothing really to do with the Olympics and are fun. You can chose from all your favorite characters from the Mario and Sonic series also add your Mii into the ... Read review

This game is fun for all the family. I found lots of the events extremely fun and I liked the use of the wii remote. The characters all have their special qualities and the graphics and sound are superb. Also it has mini-games where you can gain facts about the Olympics. This game is challenging but one you cant stop playing. This is a must have for Christmas.

mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
Review of Mario & Sonic At the Olympic Games (Wii) by yks1

Advantages: good fun
Disadvantages: energy sapping

There have being so many reviews written about this game, and mine probably isn't going to be any different. This game is great. It is so much fun to play. The controls are great, which is what makes this game so much better on the Wii. There are lots of events to play, and many things to unlock. This makes the one player and two player modes equally as good. I have had this game a while and played it loads, yet i still have a lot of things which ... Read review

Excellent! But Tiring :)
Review of Mario & Sonic At the Olympic Games (Wii) by 01bolandn

Advantages: Playing in groups, Playability, Fun
Disadvantages: Sound gets annoying overtime, Tiring keep flailing your arms around :)

Remember the old school ABABABABABAB sports games? Well they just got took to a whole new level. The game is a lot of fun (we always end up on this game by the end of the night :)) when playing with your peers however playing the game on your own can be a bit repetitive. The sound on it is typical for nintendo its fun but gets annoying over time. The graphics are distinctly average however theres not much to have effective graphics on. I mean ... Read review

A gold medal winning Wii game!
Review of Mario & Sonic At the Olympic Games (Wii) by Spottydog11

Advantages: Fun, challenging, a great arm work out!
Disadvantages: A little tiring and repetitive at times!

This is in my opinion the best game for the Nintendo Wii. Firstly my husband and I bought a Wii last year and it is perfect when people come over, after dinner to entertain your guests. They actually have been inviting themselves over so they can play. Back to the game - this is really fun to play with two people or on your own, any more than that and it gets a bit boring waiting for people to take their turn. When you select a character go to Mii ... Read review
