Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics

AdvantagesExcellent game ideal for the whole family

DisadvantagesNone for me

"...instead my husband brought me Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, its a similar style to the Wii party games you can buy incorporating all of the Mario and Sonic characters, its perfect for the whole family and everyone had a go on it Christmas day. The game comes in the traditional Will game case, this is made from a bright yellow plastic and opens up like a book. It has a very colourful paper label wrapped around the front and back ..." Live the dream at the London 2012 Olympics!

AdvantagesLots of different events; colourful, range of difficulty.

Disadvantageswii remote control

"My two children thoroughly enjoyed Mario & Sonic at the Olympics and at the Winter Olympics (as did the adults in my family too!) so it was a natural progression to check out the London 12 Olympic Games on the Wii. Bronze Medal Stuff

AdvantagesSome fun games, looks great.

DisadvantagesPoor controls, no Motion Plus, some stinkers.

"...sees characters drawn from the Mario and Sonic titles pitted together across a variety of Olympic events. With its official branding and mascots, recognisable (mostly) characters and bright, happy graphics, the game makes a strong first impression, but its lastability is limited, and I can’t see many people still playing this come the kick-off of the Games themselves. There are 12 sports on offer here, including stalwarts from the Beijing edition ..." Read review

Mario and Sonic Hit The London Olympics

Advantageslots of new events, the dream events

Disadvantagesnone for me!

"...younger included my favourite plumbers Mario and Luigi and their dinosaur friend Yoshi, and of course Princess Peach, who always seems to be running into bad luck and getting captured by the villain in this game King Bowser. I spent hours trying to rescue the Princess in games such as Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3, Super Mario World 1 and 2, The Lost Levels and of course Mario 64 when Mario became for 'advanced' on the Nintendo 64 console. The Mario ..." Read review
