When I hit my teens and started to wear proper mens shirts my mum used to always ask me 'why do you always roll up your sleeves' to which I would often reply that the arms were too short and when I did wear them 'normally' I had an awful habit of ripping them at the elbows due to the pressure. It took me into my twenty's to realise that there were a small number of retailers that actually made shirts with a longer sleeve without having to resort to exorbitantly priced custom made shirts.
