...for me, well, I get Mary Beth’s Bean Bag World Monthly. But that’s an unnecessarily long name, so let’s call it MBBBWM from now on, okay?
There are pros and cons to this magazine – the main argument for buying it is that, if you are a beanie fan, it’s the only one you are likely to find in the local newsagents. The main argument against it is that each issue costs a hefty £3.95 – and you don’t even get a ... ...it though.
So what do you get for your money? Well, invariably, a beautifully presented publication with lots of colour photos, a lovely glossy feel to it and a gorgeous cover. Non beanie fans might wonder how I can lavish such praise on a magazine which is, let’s face it, about cuddly toys I should have grown out of two decades ago – but I collect all the TY ranges (beanies, Attics, buddies, classics, teenies and Kids), so to me, this ...

...heard of this excellant magazine, Mary Beth's bean bag world. I brought this magazine for £3.95 from my local newsagents but I know that it can be purchased from supermarkets like Tesco's and Sainsbury's.
This magazine was also available to the US but Mary Beth has recently stopped printing it there so as far as I am aware it is currently only available here in the UK.
Mary Beth's bean bag world comes out once and a month and like most magazines ... ...these adorable collectors items.
Mary beth also has the usual readers letters page which shows many fans pictured with their large selection of beanies. It is also cram packed with advertisements about shops and websites where you can get beanies, some at great prices.
Mary beth has most of the up to date news on new arrivals and retirements coming soon from the world of TY. There is also a lot of information on upcoming shows and beanie fairs, ...
