    I worked my way up to using foundation, as usual it was my sister who brought me into the world of make up and fashions, and whatever she bought, I used and loved.. I trusted her feeling for what was nice and not, and I still do! In return I did her dishes.. hehe.. One day she had bought Max Factor´s Lasting Performance foundation, and wanted to try it on me, don´t think I´ve used any other foundation ever before that, except my mother´s far too dark shades of brown cream in an attempt to look tanned, and I remember it didn´t look nice.     I’ve done it! I’ve finally broken out of my cheap make up habit! Some people on here may already know that I tend to go for the cheaper things in life. I buy cheap clothes, cheap food, cheap cleaning products and cheap make up. I also improvise with my make up. I’ve made my own concealers in the past and I have make up that has been in my collection for over 3 years. But no more!     Advantages Advantages easy to remove, suits my skin tone

    After running out of my foundation the other day, I made a quick and speedy dash to Boots in order to get a new one. Though, my usual one (Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse) didn't have my shade in stock, so I decided to look around a bit, until I came to the 'Max Factor' make up range. Max Factor is known as a goos make and is often called the 'make up of make up artists', so deciding it was a brand that I could trust, I decided to choose a foundation from this brand and picked the 'Lasting Performance' one, which claims to be 'long lasting make up'.     Is your skin making your life misery? Do you get days where you just wish you could just walk around with a paper bag on your head? If so, read on............ I have an oily t-zone and am quite prone to the really painful spot, you know the type (ow, ow, I feel like an alien is trying to escape from under my skin, call the FBI and so on)!     I like to try alot of make-up products in search of the one that is perfect for me because I have this 'habit' I buy my make-up from my local market stall so I can get quality products at a cheaper price this one cost me £6.50 on the market and it would have been £9.49 in Boots or Superdrug so pennys to spare for another nail varnish or eye shadow!! I would recommend if you do this to test them in the high street shops first though, market traders don't take to kindly to testing products lol. So what do MaXfactor say about there foundation?     Advantages Advantages Quick and easy to apply, Transparent tube, Lasts all day, Doesn't rub off onto clothes and still removes easily with cream

    "You look younger today mummy" said my twelve year old daughter recently as she arrived home from school. "Do I really?" I prompted, my mind racing over the events of the day trying to think what I did differently. It made a refreshing change from the usual quips the children come up with, such as, "Are you a bit tired mummy?" (No, just harrassed, haggard and getting older!). Then I remembered...     this is a good quality foundation. it goes on well and lasts but not as long as i expected. and it rubs off easily onto clothes.

    This is the best.... I occasionally see something new on the market, try it and regret it - always go back to this. The makeup goes on easy, you don't need much as it gives a good cover. I put about 1/2 teaspoon on the back of my hand in the morning and then spread it on my face with my other hand. I put the make up all over my face, on my eye lids and under my eyes. I have found that my eye shadow stays on better with this as a base. I have very dark shadows (from medication) under my eyes, never finding a concealer that covered it, I was amazed to find that this did the job. Wow ... double ... more

    Make-up is a big part of my life; I use it everyday and won’t leave the house without it! I have tried many foundations and find that they don’t blend in with my skin, don’t last 5mins, rub off on anything possible or make me look orange. So when I saw this one advertised I thought, anything is worth a try! And I’m glad I tried it as I haven’t stopped using it since! it comes in a 35ml see-though tube, with a dark blue lid, at £9.95 it is expensive, but it does last along time, mine last's me about one month, and I use it everyday, sometimes twice a day, so it is good value for money.     I've been working my way through various foundations for years, unti i found this! I suffered from acne as a teenager and although its cleared up now my skin tone is un-even. Most foundations i've tried are either too watery and provide no coverage, or they dry out the skin. This however is brilliant, it blends in really well and has a good thick texture that definately helps to even out the skin tone. It doesn't give that 'caked' effect and it makes my skin look fresh and dewy. It lasts well, but can 'slide' off the face in hot weather, however living in england that doesnt really pose a ... more
