It Started with a Kiss

Advantages: Gives a fresh dewy complexion
Disadvantages: Need to keep it in the fridge in hot weather

...wearing my first ever foundation, Max Factor Panstick in ‘Orange’ as he would have had to be surgically removed! Max Factor Panstick thickly applied with a resulting tide mark ending at the chin. This image of myself along with the black Panda style eyes and the pale, pearly-pink lipstick still makes me cringe when I recollect the obviously drunken man on the London bus asking me how much I charged to haunt a house! Since those heady ...
...Max Factor beauty product as I can only stir up memories that they made me look ugly! That was, until a couple of months ago. I tested Max Factor ‘Seamless’ stick foundation on my skin and instantly liked the texture, coverage and blending. The colour range was small and uncomplicated with three choices of Light/Medium/Medium Dark and no fancy names in a language I don’t understand. I liked that! The stick is presented in the ubiquitous ...

...to boots to buy my max factor products as I find they have a wider range for to choose from. I brought it for £6.95 for a 30 ml tube, the tube its self looks a little on the small side but it does go a long way! I only had 3 colours to choose from natural, ivory and porcelain. I knew boots are now online so I check on there to see if they had other shades but they had the same 3 colours as my local boots. For me getting the right foundation is ...
...agree with this statement from max factor, I always get a foundation line with this makeup even though I follow all the makeup rules and the advice from make factor themselves! They advise you to apply a light moisturizer prior to putting on the foundation and Apply the foundation in small amounts using fingertips or a cosmetic sponge to blend it in. Even after doing all this I find that I still am patchy in places! My forehead ends up a different ...

Max Factor Seamless as an everday foundation

Advantages: Doesn't require much product to go a long way.
Disadvantages: can need reapplying a few times throughout a day.

...as I am keen on Max factor products. I did not really get on with it, that isn't to say it's a bad product but personally for the requirements I have for a foundation it didn't hit all the buttons. I need a reasonable coverage as I have a fairly uneven skin tone and this one was very light. As I said that isn't necessarily a bad point and might be perfect for some people just for me personally this wasn't quite right. Also because it was a lighter ...

...tend to buy foundation from max factor, it's just always been a favourite of mine. Being a bit strapped for cash and in need of a new foundation I bought this one. I bought it for under £5 (can't remember the exact price) from a market type stall in town, and I've seen it in many other shops such as boots so I can't really say 'you shouldn't trust market stalls' It has no particular smell to it which I was pleased with but it was very runny, no ...
...very disappointed with it, maybe max factor aimed this product at someone who didn't really need to use foundation because they already had nice skin, that's the only person I could imagine would want to buy it! Of course this is my own opinion and maybe there are others who found this product wonderful but I didn't... ...

Length of Coverage

Almost seamless

Advantages: covers well, and copes with oily skin
Disadvantages: expensive (normally)

Being a penny pincher I cringe at the price of foundation. So, how did I manage to allow myself to purchase an expensive brand? Well, it was newly in the shops, and the introductory price tempted me! I have pale, oily skin, and find that my nose area is difficult to keep looking fresh with makeup on. This foundation, however, works well. If you rub it quite well in to your skin you'll get the best results, and it'll still cover well. I tend to moisturise ...
...evenly. The whole idea behind this product is that it should blend into your natural skin tone. I have chosen the lightest shade, and unfortunately it still shows a bit of a tide mark if not rubbed in well. Another thing to watch out for with this stuff is that it can set if you don't rub it in quickly enough. If it starts to dry on your face (the cream's consistency is slightly dry) it is harder to blend in, and can be a bit powdery. I think it ...

...would I be without my Max Factor foundation? I don't think I could live without it. It is the best thing thats happened to me. It may be expensive, but it's well worth the money. It is, as it says, seemless but you have to blend it in but you have to spend time to get yourself looking a bit better for going out. Well I have to anyway. After I use this, I can almost pass as attractive but not quite but thats got nothin to do with the quality of the ...

I don't wanna be orange no more...........

Advantages: Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!
Disadvantages: Quite expensive!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to wear concealer under my eyes to cover up the light blue patches created by too-less sleep! And to hold all my make up into place, I use a translucent powder and lightly brush it onto my face. But I found out that the powder strangely turned the concealer an orangey colour when applied on top. When I saw the advert for "MaxFactor Seamless Foundation", I thought I had to have some of that!!!! So I went and bought some, and it is excellent. ...
...powder, it is creamy and it blends into your skin amazingly without lines!!!! (Hence the title "seamless" I guess"). Though it is quite an expensive product to purchase, I believe that it is an essential, and if it stops the nation from turning orange, I think that everyone should use this foundation!!!!!!!!!!! ...

Advantages: good coverage, spreads well
Disadvantages: not to be used as a concealer

I tried this foundation because I was fed up with buying the same one everytime it ran out-and because the nice polyfilla'd woman behind the Boots cosmetic counter told me to! It has a nice colour and is definitely suited to what I shall call 'British skin' i.e. a bit pasty at this time of year. It gives good coverage and a little goes a long way. It blends in very well, even on to the drier parts of my skin even though it becomes shiny after a ...
...around a fiver and it seems to be a good price for the quality of the make-up. I recommend this foundation, but all foundations react differently to different skins. On my combination skin it works very well-very 'spreadable' with good coverage but wouldn't work well as a concealer. It's not thick like some foundations can be so you don't feel as if you've just literally caked your face in make up ...

Advantages: quite good match to my skin colour
Disadvantages: too thin

The only reason i bought this foundation was because it was an emergency. I had run out of my usual foundation, and this was the only one i could afford at the time! To be honest it wasnt the best foundation i have ever used, i like foundation to give a really flawless look, and it didnt give me quite the effect i wanted. It did give a nice dewy look which was good, but it didnt last as it rubbed of easily during the day. as it says , it is seamless, ...
...at the jawline. It could do with giving better coverage as it was quite thin and i dont go for that kind of foundation. It was definitly not matt, but if you like the dewy look then its good. It would be better for people who have perfect skin, as it could probably enhance it. The colour i got was a good match to my skin, and there is a good range of other colours. It takes a bit more blending to get it to look seamless but it didnt leave marks. ...

Max Factor "Seamless" Foundation

Advantages: Is 'seamless' as promised, very good blemish cover.
Disadvantages: Clumping around dry skin.

I bought Max Factor Seamless foundation because it was (although like most foundations) quite expensive at around £5, I had always had problems blending make-up in and hoped that this product might be an improvement. The colour matched that of my skin very well, and was indeed quite seamless, although you do still have to make sure that you blend it in well. It was probably the best foundation I had used so far in terms of covering up spots and blemishes. ...
...skin, where it tended to clump a little unless you paid careful attention. Generally, this make-up was very good, particularly for people like me, who like to just be able to slap the stuff on and get good results with very little effort, although you need to watch out for dry or flaky skin and make sure it is moisturised to be able to do this. Mostly, though, I'd recommend it to anyone as a good thing to have in your make-up bag. ...

Max Factor Seamless

Advantages: Very light and natural
Disadvantages:

And here is a foundation for the ones of you who need just a light cover. I bought it by mistake. It is true, its look is very natural, and if you choose the right colour, it blends so perfectly that is like having nothing on. I guess it's the right choice for the youngest among you on that very special occasion. It tends to dry up the skin a bit, so make sure you put your favourite moisturising cream first. And the golden rule: always remove your ...

Advantages: Seamless and smooth
Disadvantages: not enough of it!

I don't always take make-up too seriousley but I thought what the hey, I'll give it a go. It was easy to smooth in and was seamless. This make-up didn't last me though. Only a few weeks and I was frantically squeezing the bottle to get out a drop! and I only have a small face! but all the same I was quite impressed and I suppose it was worth the money and it wasn't a bad price.
