Maxi-Cosi Cabrio Car Seat

I was recommended to buy this car seat by a friend and now I can see why they rated it so highly. Which magazine have rated Maxi Cosi as one of their safest car seats and it's been a great buy for us. I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. I bought a maxi-cosi cabrio car seat (with isofix base) for use purely as a carseat (we were given a pram otherwise I would have chosen one of the compatible prams e.g. bugaloo and quinney). It is rather expensive at around £200 for seat and isofix base and I would have thought that it was possible for Maxi-cosi to do it for quite a bit less. I purchased the maxi cosi cabrio car seat for a number of reasons but mainly for its build quality, reputation and isofix attachements. Another good point is that it was easy to fit to our Bugaboo pram. The covers can be removed for easy cleaning and there is a great scope for adjustment with the straps.
