I started reading the Maximum Ride books when I was 13 or 14, and really enjoyed the first book, bought the second book, which was also good, and read the third. When I saw the fourth book, despite being 18, I decided to read it. And I was severely disappointed. Now the first the books of this series were great, I absolutely loved them. However this one leaves a lot to be desired. It's just got so repetitive. This one does not have as many twists and turns in it, so at the end you just think, is that it? There's no real excitement, it's just like a novel.
