...feeling when I started using Maybelline 'Wonder Finish' but after using this I realise it was still clogging my face up quite a bit. It's a really nice feeling when you know your skin can actually breathe. I don't even realise I have any foundation on after I've applied this and that makes me really at ease with myself because theres nothing worse than feeling your foundation and worrying whether you have lines or tell tale signs that it's there. ... ...11) Shades Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse comes in eight different shades and you should find one that is best for you. The shades are:
* Ivory - A light shade that will suit fair skin
* Cameo - A medium shade * Nude - The one I have and it suits pale skin
* Sand - A slightly darker shade that will still suit medium skin
* Fawn - A shade best suitable for tanned skin probably
* Sun Beige - Quite a dark shade
* Caramel - The second darkest shade ...

...thing to it is the Maybelline Dream Mouse with no exceptions what so ever. I have tried the body shop concieler and that was the best one before I met Maybelline, until I found that they stopped selling my colour in every outlet I could find and travel to. I was so disappointed at the fact the body shop has no colour foundation or concealer available to match my skin colour, and I am not an exceptionally dark skinned person. The best thing I thought ... ...in the first place, now, Maybelline gave me the coverage that I needed in one simple application and I couldn't see the scars past it at all, I was surprised because it was a foundation as well and not a concealer.

Advantages: Matt finish, good coverage, reasonably priced Disadvantages: Doesn't last all day
Having run out of my favourite foundation, and preferring a matt coverage for evening (good wrinkle concealer) I thought it was worth giving this a go. It is apparently the UKs number one foundation (I presume in sales) so I wanted to know what it was like

Once again, the promises interest me, because again, we have a product promising perfection with minimum effort, and as ever, there seems to be breakthrough technology…another revolutionary product. Surely they can’t all be revolutionary!

The mousse comes in a small pot with a screw cap lid. I like pots because unlike tubes of foundation, I can ...

Advantages: Comes in a shade that suits me, little goes a long way, good coverage Disadvantages: Not as many shades available in the UK as the US, slightly drying on my skin
...a smidgen too dark, but Maybelline have provided well, with Ivory, Cameo and Nude all being on the pale end of the scale.
Sand, Fawn and Sun Beige all look a medium shade, while Caramel and Cocoa are more suitable for darker skin shades. It's worth mentioning that there are more shades available in the US (12 v 8), so if there isn't one in the UK for you, it might be worth picking some up while you're there, or getting a friend to on your behalf.
... ...different to anything I've come across before. It's definitely a mousse, with the same look and feel as one that you'd eat. This means that it doesn't run down as you apply it, but it does feel rather strange on your fingers. It's easy to apply, and you only need a tiny bit to get good coverage. I use a foundation brush to apply it, which makes it really easy to blend, especially along the jaw line, notorious for showing a tide mark if you're not ...

Advantages: easy to apply, great finish, natural look Disadvantages: useless on dry skin
When Maybelline dream matte mousse first came onto the market, the advertising campaign behind it was huge. Most women couldn't help but notice it. There were the TV ads, the glossy magazine adverts, and of course all those make-up artists you see on lifestyle programmes, shouting about how brilliant it was. This product is a foundation, produced by Maybelline New York, which has been air-whipped to produce a mousse, rather than the usual liquid ... ...used another product from the Maybelline mousse range and not liked it, don't let that stop you from trying the foundation.
~Packaging~
The foundation comes in a glass pot, with a plastic screw off lid, matching the colour tone of the product inside. The glass pot is quite heavy and also bulky, which makes it quite inconvenient to carry around. The packaging is OK - pleasant to the eye, but nothing special at all.

...foundation products I came across Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. ~~Packaging~~ The packaging for this product is very simple, a clear glass tub (holds 18ml of mousse) with a skin coloured screw on lid. The lid has a sticker in the middle with the name of the product and information about the shade chosen. ...usually a big fan of Maybelline foundations, as I don’t think the coverage is great, but with a gimmick like this (being a mousse) I knew I had to give it a go. The foundation is available in 8 shades,

...what can you do?
Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse was introduced a few months before my birthday and i was determined to try it simply because it looked so different to other brands and foundations that i had seen around, i new it would become the trend and i had to have it...simple as that.
of course the problem i had to overcome was the fact that my old foundation hadn't run out yet and mum absolutely refused to buy a new one when i didn't need it ... ...i headed straight for the Maybelline section and sure enough there it was, glinting in the bright fluorescent lights overhead...the answer to all my prayers. i was pleasantly surprised at the low price of only £6.50 and as i made my way through the various tester pots laid out on the shelf, i knew that this was the one.
i knew instantly why the product had been named 'mousse'...it felt just like chocolate mousse in a tub and as i rubbed my fingertip-covered-in-mousse ...

Advantages: Cheap & can vary look by applying more or less foundation. Disadvantages: Doesn't last too long in hot conditions. Can cake a little.
Having used Mac foundation for a good few months, I was in a panic when the bottle ran out one day. As I can't get Mac products in my hometown, I went in search for some 'cheap' foundation to get my until I could replace my previous foundation. Advantages: Feels soft and smooth. Disadvantages: Poor coverage.
I didn't really get on with this foundation. It feels very nice to put on to your skin but it seemed to sink into all the little lines blemishes on my face thus actually emphasising them. Also it didn't really provide any real coverage, at times it didn't look like I'd put any on as it didn't actually cover my skin. Therefore I would say it is best for use if you just want to brighten up your complexion, rather than hide or cover up any spots or ... ...I liked because it means you can get all of the foundation in the pot out. I find with pump bottles that you always get a little bit in the bottom that you can't get out. But with this packaging design it is easy to get every last bit out, so that you don't feel as though you're being cheated out of the last few drops! Advantages: light, pleasant texture, good coverage, reasonably priced Disadvantages: heavy container, sometimes doesn't last a whole day
I am not a fan of make up and for much of my youth, I went without it. Maybelline is one of the biggest products in the beauty industry and it's no wonder with products like this. Dream Matte Mousse was the first of it's kind allowing a softer feel on the face when wearing foundation. Description

Advantages: Great value for money, blends easily, 14 different shades, good coverage, Disadvantages: If You have dry skin it makes it more obvious, Not Waterproof
In my opinion Dream Matte Mousse is one of the best foundations around. With such a mixture of shades i found it easy to find my perfect match. The foundation does what it says it does, and covers any blemish and leaves your face looking natural and blemish/spot free. Unlike other foundations, it doesn't sit on your skin and feel heavy and greasy, it blends in perfectly and it barely feels as if your wearing any foundation at all. Another thing i ... ...so easy to apply and remove. It has got to be one of the quickest foundations to apply evenly. It applies smoothly and you dont have to apply any force to get it to blend in.
