Possibly too discreet

Advantages: Smart case containing applicator
Disadvantages: Doesn't show up on eyes!

...three colours and a single Maybelline eyeshadow is about £4.50. I thought it was a good price. I bought the 'Nothing but Neutrals' selection which contains a pale cream colour, a dark pink colour and a middle brown colour. I do wear make-up on an every day basis but I only apply it discreetly. Most men I meet don't realise I wear make up, as I like to look natural. This colour selection seemed perfect to me as it would only highlight my features ...
...be wearing anything with this Maybelline product. As to whether it is waterproof, again I would have to admit I'm not sure, I would say no because after I tested it I couldn't see anything left but then I couldn't see much to start with. I would think that if it was waterproof Maybelline would market it as being so. It is called 'Expert eyes' so perhaps it was my skill of application that let me down here, or perhaps my skin tone was the wrong colour ...

Another bargain bin purchase - disappointing!

Advantages: Pretty colours, cheap
Disadvantages: Takes a lot to show up, does not last

I am normally a a Maybelline fan. Their products are generally excellent, with great value for money. The colours are very pretty. There were four ...
...range - or at least that is what the shop assistant told me). They were all pretty colours. However, though this looks good in the box, it was pretty rubbish as a product. I am quite pale, so the neutral colour was darker than my skin tone and should have shown up. I had to reapply loads just to see anything, and the same went for the pink colour. Only the blue showed up easily. It didn't even go on smoothly or evenly. The applicator which came ...

Expertly Done

Advantages: 3 co-ordinated eyeshadows that easily blend, flattering shades
Disadvantages: none

Maybelline Expert Eyes is a trio of shades that easily blend together to create just about any look you want. It has a stay true formula which promises long lasting colour, and lives up to this promise. I put it on in the morning and even in the late afternoon, it's still on. It can be used together, on its own or blend to create your own colour. I love how this product glides on smoothly and doesn't leave any creases on your eyelids like most eyeshadows ...
