...waterproof black. According to the Maybelline site it also comes in brown but I haven't found this on boots.com. I have been using the standard black version. It lasts extremely well even if it is slightly tricky to remove. If you use a facial wash I recommend spending a bit of extra time around the eyes to make sure you don't leave black marks on the towel! I would expect an eye makeup remover would do an even better job but I'm yet to invest in ...

This has nice packaging (a little black tube) and lasts quite a long time. This mascara is supposed to make eyelashes thick and spiky, with lots of volume and length. Instead of a brush, this has a comb, with a v shaped resovoir, which i think is the reason it was difficult to apply. A lot of the product coats on to the comb, so you end up with the thick lash look, but they are not lengthened, and it tends to clump lashes together. It takes a while ...
...for at least 10 minutes after application. After a while your the mascara can flake off, and look short and spiky, which disappointed me. I bought this because it was on offer, but I wouldn't buy this again even if it was, as it did not give the desired look, or the look of the lashes in the advert. ...

Looking at the the model advertising this mascara, I decided I had to get it. Big, bold lashes was what I was looking for, and I can happily say that this one succeeded. The brush consists of two combs slanting in to each other - very innovative and does the job well. In terms of applying it, you have to keep your hand quite steady, otherwise your lashes end up clumping togethers very unstylishly. The texture is average, perhaps on the slightly thicker ...
...once, meaning that you don't need to run it through your lashes more than a couple of times, or you risk the comb seperating your lashes in to definite clumps. What I like about this one is that by the roots of your eyelashses, it is very thick and volumous, while at the ends more fine and delicate. Maybelline's lash stylist mascara is effective to enhance your eyes for a daytime, natural look. The application isn't too thick either meaning you can easily wear it during the day without it looking hugely thick or spidery. Another thing is the comb. I find that the comb is hard to use for the upper lashes but is very precise for the lower lashes so I now only use the lash stylist mascara for my lower lashes. It doesn't really stay that long either ...

i decided to buy this mascara after i seen it on a televison advert . i thought the product looked neew & exciting as the colours of the advert were bright and colourful . i then when to my local boots store to buy this product , and it wasn't over priced like i thought it would be so i snapped it up incase they had made a mistake !! i then took it home and did'nt use it for a few days as i was keeping it for an uncomming night out with friends. ...
