    I have always been huge fan of Maybelline products and not just because they are simply best values for your moneys but they also are the best products for my type of skin. And I have always been in hook after seeing commercials in telly. I bought my first Maybelline products just before taking part of Maybelline model competition. Yes, I did take part of, and sadly some side 0 teenage got cover page. And that's not fare! But I got absolutely stunning pictures from competition, and I'm very proud of that.     Advantages Advantages Smooth application and a very good even finish

    Just as I decided to write a review on this product my internet connection decided to have a holiday and not work... for two weeks! Anyhow I am finally back and I decided to write about Maybelline Superstay Silky Foundation because it is one that has very mixed feelings from me and I am interested in seeing what others have thought and if they agree with my opinion.     So as some of you will know from my recent review I have purchased a few make up items which is something I don't do that often! The reason I got three items together was due to the offer of 3 for 2 being on the Maybelline products. I have already reviewed the lip colour that I bought and now I will review the second item from my purchases which was the foundation. The foundation I bought was the 'Super stay silky 16 hour'.     After using dream matte mousse for quite a long time a decided to have a change and use a more expensive foundation. This is when I saw super stay silky, a new foundation from maybelline. *Colours* There is quite a range of colours in this foundation but the colour swatches are misleading so it is best to try it out in the store. I bought 'fawn' which when I got home found it was a little too dark for my skin tone. So if you have used dream matte mousse do not go off the shade you have used as in the super stay silky it is a little darker. So i strongly reccomend testing in store. *Packaging* ... more

    Advantages Advantages silky feel extender is nice primer, easily blended

    Disadvantages Disadvantages colour is to dark, doesn't stay as well as some, packaging awkward

    I bought this through impulse and im afraid to say its one of those impulses i acted on that didn't turn out so great. It was advertised everywhere, magazines tv, in the shop so i thought hey it must be good! Not so much..... It was about average perhaps. I was on a 6th form trip at the time, so when we got to our place to stay for the night i had an amount of free time to try my new foundation, it was less expensive than my usual - one of the advantages.     Advantages Advantages On spotless skin, can make your pores appear less visible, stays on quite a long time,

    Disadvantages Disadvantages worst foundation colour matching i've ever seen, very drying, patchy coverage, pump is very messy

    I bought this because I wanted to try a new foundation - i tried it on my hand in the shop and it looked ok, so I bought it. The packaging is a bit plasticy and cheap looking, so I was surprised at the expensive price, but I thought that it must be worth it. However, when I got outside, I realised that the colour was COMPLETELY wrong. I have pale skin, and it was very very pink in natural light, which makes you look even paler than before, and fake as Jordan's boobs.     Advantages Advantages A primer/silky feel extender with the product.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Dries very quickly, cost, dries darker than expected, leaves dry skin looking worse.

    I recently bought Maybelline's Superstay Silky Foundation after becoming tired of my current foundation which is Maybellines Dream Matte Mousse. I use the colour Fawn in the Dream Matte Mousse which i assumed would be the colour i would choose in the Superstay Silky Foundation, however i found that Fawn in the Superstay Silky Foundation dried alot darker than i expected so i chose sand which i believe is the shade lighter.     Disadvantages Disadvantages It difficult to tell when it's about to finish - suddendly there is none left!

    Maybelline is one of my favourite makeup brands because I think it is really reliable, this foundation is no exception. I love the way the lotion and foundation mix together which really does leave it feeling silky. It also has really good coverage which is a must for my skin! But it can also be used lightly. I would recommend using a brush to mix the white and the colour on your hand and blend onto your face using your finger tips (if you go straight on to squeezing the product onto your face you end up with far to much!) I have found it stays on better than other foundations I have tried ... more

    Advantages Advantages Lasts all day. Covers blemishes.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly Orange, but this can be fixed using matt powder.

    I use foundation on daily basis to cover problem skin. When I bought this I fell in love. It covers all blemishes with no problem at all! I was amazed by the staying power of this foundation as it did not wear off during the day and I did not need To re-apply. For £10, it was an average price but a fantastic value for money product. The only downside is that it is slightly orange, but this can be solved by using a matt powder on top, which also helps the foundation stay on all day.     Such amazing foundation! I never wear foundation, but it was a special night, and I was at my friends curling my hair, and like a stupid fool, burnt the side of my face and obviously left a mark. And my friend was like here, use this and MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY SILKY FOUNDATION just BLEW ME AWAAAY. So amazing. Covered it so flawlessly. So I had to cover my face in it cause it was just so flawlessly perfect for my skin! Loved it so much that I "borrowed" it from her :]
