    Advantages Advantages none

Disadvantages Disadvantages read to fnd out

After driving this car for 20 minutes I can safely say that I never wish to drive one again, this is one of the worst cars that I have driven in my year of driving cars and I have driven some old bangers to say. The ride is hard, the steering is strange and you feel like you should be tipping over, the speed is poor and needs a bigger engine. I cant say this is a car that I would advise anyone to buy here is why. Exterior The first thing when you approach this car is the shape of it; the height of it is really out of proportion to the overall size of the car. The roof rail seems to make the ... more

Advantages Advantages Ideal for mister sensible.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slow, hideous looks

This car is like a unwelcome jumper from your parents for Christmas, for months you will be walking around saying no Dad please don't make me wear that jumper. If you buy this car you will be walking around saying No don't make me drive that car. When I first saw it in the broucher before it had been released it looked like a realy good car, but that proved to be the ad mans very clever photography. The day came when I went to proudly collect my new Demio and I was sorely dissapointed it was and is hideous. Don't get me wrong for someone who wears cardigans and slippers and is growing gray and ... more

    Advantages Advantages Reliable, and comfortable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Engine possibly a little small

This is my Mum's car, and is ideal for that purpose. It's easily got enough room for four adults - and you still have plenty of room in the boot. The paint colours now introduced by Mazda are really inspiring. This is a comfortable car to drive (I know, i've done 200 miles in one day on a number of occasions), with really supportive seats, perfect for anyone with back problems. The height of the roof makes the car seem very light and airy, yet protective. The back seat is on slide runners, the same as the front, so that passengers in the back can have more leg room, or you can have a bigger ... more

Advantages Advantages All models are well equipped. Economical sporty car that is a great all rounder.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Somewhat plasticy interior and minor defect in the rear seat locking mechanism.

The Mazda 2 is a supermini with good looks that leave revals miles behind. The new Mazda 2 is lighter, making it more responsive and fuel-efficient. There are three petrol engines available in the range which comprise of two 1.3 litre engines with come with either 74 or 83bhp, and a 101bhp which is a 1.5 litle engine. The 1.3 gives a good performance, but does lagg slightly when accelerating. The 1.5- litre does have better torque with a much improved acceleration. There is a Diesel 1.6 available however i am unable to review as have not had hands on experience with this engine. The Mazda 2 is ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages cheap interiors

I trade my fiat punto 16v (80hp) from the year 2000 for this Mazda demio 1.3 from the year 1999 in a dealer and he also gave me 2 years of waranty, the car had 74000 kms, it was like new, i made this trade because i was tired of my faulty punto and wanted a reliable brand and car, my first toughts were, this car is kind of ugly, and certanly will be very slow, but i will make the trade to pass him to my wife that was taking her license, but i was worng, the car is not so slow (ok compared to similar engines), i dont notice to much diference compared to the punto, and other cars that i have ... more

    Advantages Advantages Spacious car

Disadvantages Disadvantages Lack of in-car gadgets and add-ons

My parents bought this car in 2009, and I have recently passed my driving test. This car is extremely easy to drive, and handles perfectly. The car has manual transmission, and is very easy to change gears. The car handles really well, and manoeuvers round corners effortlessly at speed. Since the car was bought in 2009, no parts in the car have had to be replaced, which could be very pricy. In my opinion, the car is a very durable car, which needs very little maintenance. I have been very impressed with the overall performance of the car. It accelerates very well, for a 1.3L engine, without ... more
