Meg Cabot

Meg Cabot was born in 1967 and grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. When she was older she moved to New York to pursue a career as an illistrator forcing her to turn to writing novels. She's now the author over 40 books aimed at all diffrent age groups, her most famous being the Princess Diaries Series which was made into two fantastic films. I only know her for writing the fabulous teen girly books such as Princess Diaries and The Mediator series. I don't really know anything about her personally...but I plan to do some researching! Of course she is a successful writer as you can see by her book, Princess Diaries, being made into a very successful film. It's more of a 'chick flick' but I'm pretty sure anyone would enjoy it.
