    You are probably wondering what my title has to do with Ciao addiction, well I reckon you would have to be seriously addicted and very lucky to get anywhere close to becoming a millionaire through participating in Ciao, plus hopefully it caught your eye and made you want to read my review. The thought of Ciao being an addiction may make you laugh but it is as real as drugs, smoking and gambling, I should know “My name is christianfilmcritic and I was a Ciao addict”, some of you may say I still am.     The mad cabbie was the trigger to write this review, together with bloody anger I will admit too, and frustration at myself for falling into the Sarah (Trampus) saga, with hook, line and sinker, with the hook firmly embedded in my throat. He wrote so eloquently and tactfully (Jillmurphy quote) and I agree, about addiction to Ciao that I thought I better add my two pennies worth. I am afraid that for this one I will not be so tactful.     To put it bluntly I loathe cynics and despise hypocrites. What has shaken me from my normal role as a “peacekeeper” and a genuine tolerant person? I have been reading some reviews on Ciao addiction, a topic that seems to be getting a lot of use nowadays. I found a fair balance but the cynics that write on this topic should look to themselves, if they honestly feel that addiction is going too far, then why do they stay on the site? Nobody is pushing them to stay and if their feelings are so strong as to categorize the persona of each Ciaoer then why stay on a site that offends their ... more

    AS many of you know this is my 200th review! I decided I wanted to see what a Ciao addict I was by asking members of my beloved COT to ask me Ciao related questions! I did ask for one question from each of them, but I have ended up with several questions from each member! I will do my best to answer them and hope that this makes for an interesting read!     ~ ~ First of all let’s analyse the question we’re being asked here. “Member Advice On Ciao Addiction” Well, for starters, it’s not really a question, is it? And does “Ciao Addiction” actually exist, and if so, are any of us here qualified to give anyone else “Advice” about it? I’ve no doubt that when Ciao first posted this category, they intended it to be taken with a pinch of salt, and for most of the opinions posted to be of the humorous variety.     As I've reached No. 300 I thought I'd take a look back at my time on Ciao and let people see that perhaps I am a touch addicted, well actually it's more like I just enjoy my writing. It’s been about 2 years and 3 months since I took the plunge and registered my name with ciao. I’d been on Dooyoo for about a month before but when Aurora was brought in my access to Dooyoo halted there and then. I couldn’t log on, so I almost gave up totally on opinionating, until I remembered reading about a similar site.     I joined Ciao exactly one year ago with the idea of making a bit of extra money, I had no idea how much of my own time was going to be consumed by this little 'Hobby', and cerainly no idea of how addicted I was to become. So what is the definition of addiction ? Well according to 'Answers.com' addiction is defined as : "The condition of being habitually or compulsively occupied with or or involved in something."     What the bloody hell is going on, this site isn’t for bickering amongst ourselves, this is a community site were everyone and anyone is welcome.
